We visited New Orleans to retrace our parent's honeymoon which they took in 1946. We've always preferred staying in bed and breakfasts and did some research before picking the Jazz Quarters and we're so glad we did. Situated on the border of the French Quarter and Treme it's a perfect home base for seeing the city. Our hosts Robert and... More

I just did it the Jazz quarters with a group of friends. The place had nice cozy cottages with antique decor. The stay was ok due to the fellowship of friends. However Jazz Quarters could use a class in customer service and I was very put off by the owners' attitudes. In addition, the location was less than desirable for... More

Overall, I think the cottages are a very nice spin on the typical bed and breakfast; separate units versus the typical house. It allowed for more freedom in regards to noise as they are all one story buildings. There were 7 of us split between 2 cottages and it worked really well. One had a family room so we could... More

Before we even arrived, our innkeeper Lorraine was incredibly accommodating. We had some unexpected adjustments to our travel plans and Lorraine made sure the transition was effortless. Both her and Robert were the friendliest hosts you could ask for and Robert gave us some great live music recommendations. Sarah McCoy is a must see! We stayed in the Kermit cottage... More

The Kermit is a great cottage, with a little bit of a wild side, like the artist it was named after. We agree that Loraine and Robert can't be beat and we're glad you enjoyed your time with us. Thanks so much for sharing your experience and do visit us again soon. Cheers- The Jazz Quarters Team More

When I booked this B&B, I never thought it could be as good as people said it was. Was I ever wrong. First of all, the Innkeepers, Lorraine & Robert are fantastic people. They are an awesome, friendly couple. Robert cooked some of the best breakfasts every morning. Lorraine makes you feel happy to get up in the mornings and... More

I absolutely loved my stay at the Jazz Quarters. Lorraine was the friendliest hostess and had so many great restaurant suggestions. She even provided us with a map of the best restaurants in town! However, Robert's cooking was the best food we had in New Orleans, and breakfasts at the Jazz Quarters were simply mouthwatering. The rooms were lovely -... More

We loved everything about this place - the location was great, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was amazing! I'd highly recommend this place to anyone visiting New Orleans, especially if they want to be near the French Quarter but not right in it, since it can be a little crazy.

We stayed with Lorraine for three nights in late May for a 16-lady bachelorette party. We had six different rooms / suites. The B&B looks (from Google street view) to be in a weird neighborhood but fear not! Once you get inside the gate, there is a beautiful garden courtyard, a little breakfast nook, and a bunch of really cute... More
