From the outside the hotel looks ok, but the rooms are pretty run down and need renovation. Rooms are also quite small. We had booked for 5 nights and checked out after one night. Went for breakfast in the restaurant at the hotel and they had no spoons, we had to get plastic ones from the coffee place next door.... More

Despite its high room rate, this property is need of a serious remodel. The bathrooms are larger than ones you would find on a plane, but not by much. You literally have to close the door everytime to find any room. The sink and counter are the perfect height for a small child, but not an adult. I'm not joking.... More

My boyfriend travels all around the world for business often- he's gone an average of almost 2 weeks every month, and he always stays with Hilton. So we decided to go to NO for a few days and stay with some earned points. We chose the Double Tree because of the location. Had I read the reviews of it before... More

This hotel is in a great location. Located across the street from Harrah's Casino and about two blocks from the Riverwalk. The street car will pick you up just steps from the hotel on Canal Street. The hotel is a little older and the rooms are a little small. But most rooms in New Orleans are tiny. After all, who... More

Rooms are small, bathroom is tiny and beds are too hard. No complimentary coffee in lobby. Everything has a bad odor. Will not stay at doubletree anywhere ever again.

We stayed here in October of 2011. It was very clean and nice but bathroom was a little small. The bellmen and entire staff were awesome and very helpful. It is in a great location walking distance of just about everything. We chose this hotel due to price and location. We were not disappointed.

... between CBD (Central Business District), the French Quarter, and the Warehouse District! Walking distance to virtually all of must see and do's in Nawlins! (directly across the street from Harrah's Casino!) Competent staff and fairly clean hotel, by area standards, and room amentias were more than adequate. Hilton Honors members - the free "continental" breakfast left much to be... More

We got stuck staying at the DT because the hotel where the wedding we are attending was booked for this one night. We checked in late and all went smooth. The lobby is drab, there is a restaurant called "Wow" on the first floor that tauts itself as a "wingery". We did not try it. Our room is on the... More

New Orleans is a city with character and charm and this hotel has neither. It isn't terrible and the location isn't bad, but all in all, it is just OK. We were there on business and would not return to this hotel on our own since there are so many other wonderful hotels in New Orleans.
