I had one night in New Orleans and chose the Double-Tree. Great choice. It is centrally located, across from the Casino and just a few blocks from the French Quarter. The staff was wonderful and the room was even better! I would return in a heart beat!

Came into town to see a concert. Have been in NOLA hotels before and was not expecting anything fantastic. Boy, was I pleasantly surprise. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. I am happy I made the decision to stay here. Lots of restaurants near, street car is across the street and so is high-end shopping. It was... More

Our check in went smooth & our lady was very sweet. Our room was clean & cool. Loved the shower! It had great pressure and I'm a huge fan of relaxing in a hot bath. Barely turn the knob and the water gets very hot. Although I was in heaven it is something to watch when your kids are taking... More

We experienced ants in the first room. And the second room we experienced a non working coffee maker, scolding hot water when just barely turning on the water, noise from the hall way and elevators. However, the staff was very nice.

Your satisfaction is very important to us, and we appreciate your feedback about the noisy hallways and thin walls. We are actively addressing the noise challenge you mentioned is your response. Recently, we have begun to add pneumatic door closers to our guestrooms, door frame gaskets, and added light sleeper posters to all guest floors. While this project is not... More

Asante was an outstanding server, even remembers what you had the next day. Always had a big beautiful smile. The food was hot and good each day during our week long stay. Meme was helpful with tips of things to do in the area.

The people and service are great. Pj coffee in lobby was good and the bar serves a wide selection of local beers. The rooms are adequate. Beds a bit soft and bath towels are thin. Not bad but not going to blow you away. Location is ideal. If you can get a good rate then definitely take it

I would first like to say that as a Hotel Manager this was an awesome experience. From the front desk to the back end everything was great. Hands down can't wait to get back here. This was my first time in New Orleans and the staff was so knowledgeable to explain different places to go. The promptness of the housekeepers... More

My family stay was not good, the carpet was ripped with the trim nails exposed which was I stepped on with bare feet, the air conditioning did not work even after I discussed with the front desk. The bathroom tile where steel and not in place they also had rust flakes that went into the tub.

The Hotel is showing its age. There are no safes in the rooms. The location of the Hotel is great, but there is a lot of noise in the halls, plus if you have an adjoining room, you can hear everything in the next room!

Loud fight in the hallway outside our room. Police were called and 45 minutes later, it quieted down. An apology from the staff when checking out would have been appreciated. Good location, but staff not overly friendly or helpful.
