My family and I decided to stay here for our first visit to NO. Very quickly we realized this was the wrong location to be in. We had to walk alot to get to the best parts of the French Quarter....not fun with kids. It is a smaller hotel and not very fancy. The rooms are very small and VERY... More

Very clean hotel and close to prime areas in New Orleans. The Riverwalk, Shoppes of Canal, Harrahs, Pinkberry, the French Quarter, etc. - this is the place to be. Worth the extra fee to get a larger / corner room the increase in floor space worked out well.

The Double Tree in New Orleans was a great location for us as we were in town to see a concert at the Superdome. Valet and check-in were easy and quick. The room was clean and request for extra towels was met promptly. And who can forget the delicious cookies we were given at check-in! Would recommend this hotel to... More

Hotel was great and had great service. The Hotel it's self was hard to get your car into to unload. Food was good in coffee shop but not so good in the Wow café. The bell men were prompt and very courteous.

The room was small. Bathroom and shower very very small. Service was good and everyone was pleasant. Close to Bourbon Street, maybe 2 blk walk. Many fine food establishments within walking distance. If you like to try your luck at the slots or tables, Harrah's Casino is right down the street.

Upon my arrival, the front desk personnel were very helpful and sincere. My room had been prepaid but there was no record of the check being received, and because it was the weekend, the accounting bookkeepers were not on there. I can't recall her name, but the young lady took the extra step and called the lead bookkeeper to verify... More

Hotel Staff was helpful and courteous. However I found the hotel to dirty. Perhap's its just old and could use an some upgrading or renovating. The carpet felt filthy, the bathroom wasn't very clean, I saw traces of long hair that which made me think the bathroom wasn't really cleaned. The shower curtain kept falling apart. However the towels and... More

I stayed at this property for a week while I was working during the Essence Festival. While the hotel gave me the basics with great service, I would not stay here again for such a long trip. The rooms are a bit dated and not comparable to other Doubletrees I frequent (which doesn't mean anything-all markets are different). The bathrooms... More
