I have stayed at numerous DoubleTree hotels and I am very disappointed with my stay this past weekend. The check-in was very smooth and I was given cookies, bottles of water, and breakfast vouchers for the 3 nights I was staying so I was very excited about my stay. The location is great: right on Canal Street and easy walk... More

We stayed here for a friend's wedding, everything was as expected for a Doubletree property. We did have trouble with the air when we first arrived and had to switch rooms, but that was no trouble really, they just moved us across the hall. We would stay here again!

Very convenient location in French Quarter, and really nice people. Unfortunately, promises were made that went unfulfilled, such as having the party next door to quiet down a bit. (The walls are very thin). The bathroom is a little small, but there is ample counter space. Still, I got a good bargain for my company on the room rate, so... More

Dated, not impressed at all. Carpet is gross in our room, room was incredibly muggy and smelled musky upon our arrival. Had to crank down the AC to try and get the humidity out. Now we are freezing. I feel like I"m in a cheap motel. Area around toilet needs cleaning or repair. AC vent (pancake unit) is hanging out... More

A very good location when staying in New Orleans if you enjoy walking around the city. Also easy to ride the streetcar to other destinations. Next to Harrah's if you enjoy the casino. Our room was clean although oddly laid out at the entrance with the restroom door and closet space. Difficult for more than one person to be in... More

The Doubletree Hilton in New Orleans is positioned nicely between the French Quarter and the Wharehouse District. Excellent staff! Clean - housekeeping very efficient. Concierge was very helpful. I don't know what else to say and I feel that it is ridiculous to have me write 200 characters minimum to post my review.

The Double Tree is in a great location between the French quarter and the convention center making getting about a breeze. Bria and the entire front desk staff were amazing, friendly helpful and just warm people that made me feel welcome. The bell staff was equally as good. Maids were friendly and did an average job and I had no... More

Great place to be to get any where in New Orleans. Quick check in. Nothing special about the reception area. Supposedly we where on an "Honors" floor, but it didn't appear to be special. Location was very noisey, bathroom was very small. The room was a very, nice large space. It was just ok for a Hilton.

The Doubletree New Orleans had a fantastic location as it is within walking distance to the convention center and the French Quarter. (As an added bonus it is also right across the street from Harrahs. I think my room was closer to the casino floor than if I had actually stayed at Harrahs.) Although the hotel could use a bit... from start to finish this place got everything right. super comfortable room, bed was like a pillow from heaven, friendly staff, valet etc. great location walking distance from french quarter and across from casino (if you're into that) Loved the free cookies! didn't eat there but breakfast looked good.
