The Ursuline Guest house made our vacation to New Orleans! Our room was extremely well priced, very clean, comfortable, and was in a fantastic location. We enjoyed the courtyard, hot tub, and the array of cereal, muffins, and fruit for breakfast. All this said the best part about our stay at the Ursuline was getting to know others staying there... more

The owners and staff are what make this place fun. Anastasia welcomed us and didn't just make us feel at home, she made us feel like we were among friends. We arrived during the Wine and Cheese, dropped our luggage in the room and headed out to the Courtyard to meet people. It was a lively crew of people staying... more

We had a great time at the Ursuline Guest House. We live only about 20 minutes away but needed a place just to stay the night after a party. We arrived at 7:30pm when the owners and a few other guest were enjoying free wine and cheese. Decided to join them for a while before heading to the party. We... more

I stayed at the this guest house during the Jazz fest. The owners were great- very friendly and helpful. They even served us a great barbeque dinnner one night. It was easy to met other guests all of whom were interesting. The only down side was that the rooms were older - not unexpected- and the beds could have had... more

The owners/management were nice, so I wish I could write a favorable review of this place. But it was pretty bad. On the plus side, it's a great location. It's right in the French Quarter, just a few minutes' walk to all the action. You can't beat that. It's also right down the street from a great little bakery and... more

We discovered this place on Craigslist, and got a great price. We were greeted by the charming Anastasia who despite experiencing a total computer failure, managed to get us into a room without having to change our last night as originally booked. This is far from high end, but if you need a place to rest your head, on a... more

Where do I start? Upon arriving we were nervous about our first trip to New Orleans, but when greeted by the entire family and staff we realized we were in the most perfect location. Anastasia with her sweet personality, and Chris with his casual demeanor who so kindly rode with us to park our vehicle. The most eventful part of... more

I have never before had the urge to sit down and write a review. But I feel so compelled to let anyone who is traveling to New Orleans for a Fun, Relaxing, Romantic weekend to AVOID staying at the Ursuline Guest House. Had I known ahead of time from a realistic review that I would be paying for a room... more

I stumbled on Ursuline guest house on Craig's list and thought I would go for it given the good rates and excellent location. We arrived and were instantly greeted by Bill and Shauna who made us feel really welcome straight away. They continued to be an amazing help with things to see and do and made our stay better than... more

Decide what you want from the French Quarter and why you'd want to stay here. Do you want to be another customer, with a key card and an empty room....or do you want to be adopted by a family? I chose to stay with a new family. It was great. My room was #3, deemed the "coziest room". Translated: smallest.... more
