The location was great. Their restaurant, The Checkered Parrot was ok. We had the breakfast buffett each morning and they make some great mixed drinks. After a parade on Sat. night we walked over for dinner and they said they were closed...40 minutes early. This was annoying as we had gathered a large group to dine with us and had... More

I agree with the other reviewers. Can't beat the location. But the room really did smell. The hallway outside the room reeked of cleaner and some other strange moldy smell (which the cleansing solution was trying to mask). The bathroom could be cleaner, no bath plug, and don't look down that drain! Very annoying if your room is above the... More

Clean rooms, unusually small pillows not a big deal but odd, if you are going to be experiencing Bourbon St. And all that goes along with it this hotel puts you right there. Our final destination is a cruise so the parking package with the hotel stay was an amazing deal. More

Hair in the bed, ( dont think they change the sheets) hair on the leftover soap, last tenants half used shampoo bottle still there, no bathtub plug, filthy brownish- black grunge along side of toilet tank. Housekeeping room was filthy. Positives: no bed bugs, location, friendly staff. More

Great location for the price. You can walk to everywhere from here. The start of Bourbon Street is like a 3-5 minute walk and Acme Oyster House is literally right around the corner. The evening/night shift front desk staff were really great. Also the parking garage felt pretty safe The room itself wasn't anything great. We had the headboard come... More

Great spot to stay just because of the location. Every thing is just a short walk away. It could use an update. More

First off the rooms smelled awful, like feet and smoke. There wasn't even a refridgerator in the rooms, which for $179.00 a night you would think they would have one. The manager was very rude and errogant when we inquired with him about our friends truck fitting in the parking job, he treated my friend like he was an idiot.... More

We stayed here from 11/01/2012. The hotel was clean and friendly. The rooms wher quite spacious although the cleaners for the rooms where not very thorough but all in all we had a good time. This hotel is ideal for youngsters as it is right on Bourbon Street and like the hustle and bustle. I would recommend this hotel. The... More

There is nothing fancy about this hotel, it's what you would expect from a Holiday Inn. Where they excel though is in the customer service department. From the very friendly and informative concierge to the maintenance man who went out of his way to show us where the nicer restrooms were (other than the ones located in the restaurant off... More
