Came down for Voodoo Experience. Third trip to NOLA in past 3 yrs. Location is excellent,1 block from French Market and across the street from the last stop of the Riverfront Streetcar. This was our 2nd trip here and we enjoyed it as much or more than last year. Excellent location across from the French Market and just across the street from the streetcar stop. The best things about the resort were Camille and Donnie of the front desk staff. They were very helpful, friendly and full of advice about N.O., and after 10 minutes with either of them you felt like a family member. I had read a few reviews of this hotel and some folks made comments that it needed to be updated. Not at all, it is an older hotel that has the charm and character of the French Quarter. We went to this hotel with my son and daughter-in-law, via their time share. We found the hotel to be quiet and clean, with a staff that goes "above and beyond" and made our stay wonderful!
