Very close to Frenchmen's Street. We were in room 302 which was very quiet from noise from the bands, trains and boats. We did hear a few trains, but that was all. We would definitely stay here again if it fit our needs on another trip. Kitchenette was small and functional, living room a decent size, and pull out sofa... More

Great location - really enjoyed our stay here! We Had a two bedroom suite and it was plenty of room and had a nice little kitchen for us. The inside of the hotel is lovely with some open courtyard spaces. We will stay again!

This was my third visit to New Orleans. I was there for a festival with friends. While the hotel is very old, it is located very well. This property does need updating but it was clean and comfortable. The location is the best thing about the property. It is located steps away from the street car, the French market and... More

We came here on our honeymoon in September of 2014. We were gifted a time share stay, and ended up here once we entered the "lottery." The whole time share thing was a mess, but that is not the hotel's fault. We paid for a shuttle bus from the airport, but later found out that busses are not allowed to... More

This is my third trip to New Orleans and my third stay at Hotel de la Monnaie. I really like this one! The location is fantastic - one block from the French Market, right beside Frenchman Street and just across the street from the street car stop! There is no noise problem in the rooms. Port of Call is just... More

We spent 7 days at this Hotel. We had a great time!! We couldn't have asked for a better location! Everything we wanted to see in New Orleans was within walking distance, or a short trolley ride away. The staff was very helpful and extremely nice. Delilah helped us with booking our tours and info on dining and shopping. Carmela... More

This is a good hotel at a reasonable rate. The decor is dated, but the maintenance is quite good. Internet was weak, but we were told it would be fixed "next week". Enjoyed the daily walks through the FQ and the streetcar is out the front door. We'll be back, ya'll!

This was the perfect quaint little hotel for our girls trip to New Orleans. The French Market and Streetcar stop were only one block away. Buy the $3.00, cash only, 24 hr pass and you can ride all of the the streetcars for an unlimited amount of times. They stop running around 9:00 pm, so if you are in the... More

This is an old hotel with a lot of charm. It is away from all the noise but really close to Frenchman Street which is a plus. There is a tram about a block away to take you closer to the main part of the French Quarter. Would stay here again. We had two bedrooms and a little kitchenette. Room... More

This hotel has a lot of pluses and few negatives. This was our first trip to New Orleans and the location couldn't have been better! The French market is a block away and streetcars are across the street. Frenchmen Street, where you can find lots of little clubs in the evening is a short distance as well. There is a... More
