We stayed at Southern Comfort in January, 2016. The pictures online do not do this house justice, the owner Cindee was an absolute pleasure to work with and our breakfast was scrumptious! Never again will I stay downtown, this felt like home away from home, lovely neighborhood, beautiful front porch and a private courtyard... would easily visit again!

I stayed for a week with my friend in Cindee's B&B, and we had the time of our lives. The breakfasts were all delicious southern gems. Cindee herself is the epitome of southern hospitality. We felt completely at home with her. The B&B is located about a block away from the streetcar, so it's extremely easy to travel around the... More

We stayed at The Southern Comfort bed and breakfast for 3 nights in October over the halloween weekend as part of our 3 week Honeymoon driving around America. Cindee our host greeted us at the door after our long drive from Alabama, and took us straight to our lovely large airy room which was called the horizon room, it was... More

There are only 3 bedrooms available in this 100 year old home located in the Garden District. The owner, Cindi is amazing. She is a wealth of New Orleans knowledge and cooks a wonderful breakfast every morning. My friends and I rented all 3 rooms so we had the entire house to ourselves. We loved swinging on the porch swing... More

New Orleans was a great city to visit and the Southern Comfort B&B is the best place to stay. It's quaint, quiet and comfortable. The morning breakfasts were out of this world with unique New Orleans cuisine. The inn keeper was so friendly and simply marvelous. She was extremely helpful with anything we needed. The location can't be beat, 2... More

So my husband and I had never stayed in a B&B before but it was awesome!! Cindee is an amazing cook and where here house was located made us feel like we were truly a part of New Orleans compared to when I have stayed in large hotels. We didn't pick the most ideal weekend as it was hotter than... More

We have family in NOLA, and generally love the city, so we've been there many times and tried a variety of lodging options: big chain hotels, small boutique hotels, inside the Quarter, downtown, etc. For our most recent trip, we were going as a family of six (three adults and three small children/infants) and wanted something comfortable and convenient without... This was my second stay at this wonderful small B&B in a residential neighborhood in uptown New Orleans. Cindy has kept the house beautiful and historic. Rooms are large and clean. Homemade breakfast each day is delicious. Cindy is a wealth of information since NOLA is her native city. Just ask her anything and she will head you in the... More

We arrived late, but no problem we had arranged where to find the key.....woke to a lovely cooked breakfast and a warm welcome. We were traveling with others and all our rooms were beautiful, roomy, clean and superb. We loved spending time on the veranda. Cindee gave us great ideas and tips to make our stay more enjoyable. First off this home was difficult to find as there is no sign indicating it is a b&b. On street parking across the street in front of a ran down scary looking home. Owner was in a hurry when we checked in and made us feel as if we were a bother and as if we were intruders in her... More
