My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights, May 2015. Even before we arrived, Karen was really helpful, providing advice for transportation from the airport and going out of her way to be at the property when we arrived. We stayed in 'Ingenue' which was a very comfortable room with a huge bathroom and great shower. The location of... More

We had such an enjoyable stay at Dauphine House in the Marigny district, right next to the French Quarter. We stayed in the ground floor room at the back of the house--in the "peacock room" as some people have called it. It has a kind of funky glamour, like a gilded boudoir with a hint of bordello. Sort of like... More

Hi, Diana! I'm so glad you had a good time on your first trip to New Orleans. The Ruby Slipper is definitely one of my favorites, too! Hope you can come back for another visit! More

We arrived late on a Sunday night and it was wonderful to see Karen’s smiling face when we arrived. We were very impressed with our room, the bedroom was a reasonable size, beautifully decorated. The bathroom was such a delight – very roomy and styled perfectly. Karen provided loads of useful information and recommendations on the local area. She also... More

I bought the house almost 19 years ago, with the intention of turning it into a B&B. I was so lucky to find this lovely little home in such a great location just 2 blocks from Frenchmen Street and 2 blocks from the French Quarter. As time has gone by, Frenchmen Street has truly flourished. It's such a great sampling... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Dauphine House and absolutely adored it. Karen was such a great host. The location is perfect and walking distance to all the best spots including frenchman street and bourbon street. Delicious breakfast to wake up to every day and a clean room waiting for us when we returned. Would highly recommend this place... More

My friend and I each had a room at Dauphine House and after travelling together for 3 weeks it was great to have our own space. Karen, the owner, was very prompt with our communications before we arrived and was very helpful once we were there. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated and Karen had thought of almost everything... More

The Dauphine House B&B is in a prime location to explore the French Quarter and Frenchmen Street by foot. But my wife and I loved our stay here for more reasons than its proximity to NOLA hot spots. Those reasons mainly had to do with the owner and proprietor, Karen, who is a real sweetheart. She made us feel welcome... More

My best friend and I stayed here in late October and were so impressed! The location was very convenient as we were able to walk to the French Quarter. The room had everything we needed and more and the price was the best I could find. It was lovely to stay in a old house; it really added to the... More

Dauphine house is incredible. Karen (the hostess) is so friendly and welcoming and really played a huge part in making our stay so enjoyable. She gives you a rundown of New Orleans on arrival, including some great tips. The rooms are lovely, and the breakfast basket was filled daily with fresh goodies. We had been caught out with some unexpectedly... More
