As you would expect on the French Quarter everything is old as it is supposed to be. The hotel is no exception and this only added to its charm. Everything worked and the rooms were cool so sleeping was not a problem. It is very centrally located in the French Quarter so you could walk everywhere. Frenchman street was our... More

Charming, characterful and traditional hotel in the heart of the French Quarter, close to all attractions. Has an outdoor pool in a pleasant courtyard and car parking is via a secure lot 50m away. Breakfast is complimentary but basic. Concierge has helped us book tours and advised on good restaurants. Our bathroom was quite dated but there was a fridge... More

The Chateau Hotel is conveniently located just on the outside perimeter of the French Quarter--easy walking to all notable places yet not in the chaos of party central. Rooms are well appointed; VERY comfortable beds and excellent air conditioning (which is a MUST for steamy Louisiana summers). The swimming pool is a nice size for an afternoon dip; out of... More

We stayed two nights at the Chateau Hotel last weekend and were thoroughly delighted. Great location, close to Jackson Square, French Market and of course Bourbon Street. Check in smooth, great curbside staff to help you unload and valet your car. Check in friendly and fast. We stayed in 115, which was right as you enter the gated courtyard and... More

Me and a friend were looking for a reasonable hotel and I ran across the chateau... I believe it was the cheapest one and the parking was definitely the cheapest.. Only $20! The pictures on here lies about the looks, it is very out dated but I wasn't mad at the patio Even tho we walked in puddles the whole... More

I can't wait to host you the next time you're back in New Orleans, Tonya. You'll have to come back when it isn't raining to get the full experience! However, I'm disappointed your breakfast was late a few days, and I'll be sure to speak with our team about this. See you around! Best, Sarah Drake Manager More

Loved everything about this place! Rooms were very clean. Staff was so friendly! This was a last minute trip and we really lucked out! We will definitely be back! Perfect location, breakfast brought to you, balcony to sit out on and late check-out times were just a few of the perks!

Starting off with the good stuff... The location of this hotel is PERFECT and the price can't be beat. My mom and I stayed here for 4 nights, and we were able to walk everywhere, it was safe and we felt comfortable. The beds were great and the shower was perfect! And I know it's not the Four Seasons or... More

I'm glad you loved our location! It's always nice when you can walk everywhere you would like to go. However, I know our hospitality can be much better than this. Our team strives to make sure every request is taken care of as quickly as possible, and I'd like to apologize for the wait times for your towels -- I... More

Would highly recommend this quaint little place right in the French quarter. It is close enough to everything, yet slightly off the main path so you get a little less noise at night. Price is very reasonable, staff is friendly and the people who stay are regulars. Pool is an added bonus and daily breakfast.

This hotel was amazing. You get a real New Orleans French quarter experience with this one. A very old world luxury feel to it. The courtyard and pool were a very rustic New Orleans style and I fell in love. the location is PERFECT for French quarter exploration. The staff were very helpful and friendly as well.

We have stayed at The Chateau several times and keep coming back because it's so conveniently located for us. It's a block off Royal St and walking distance to all the places we like to visit when we're in the french quarter. It's not super fancy. The rooms are on the smaller side but comfortable and they leave the paper... More
