We stayed at the Girod House for a week in summer of 2002. We have stayed with the owners before at their other B&B the Quarter Esplanade. We loved our stay at that location also. The Girod House was clean and comfortable with fresh linens every day and a continental breakfast in the room. We had a balcony to sit... more

I stayed at Girod House in New Orleans over New Years. I was surprised to find that the room and hotel were in ill repair. The room had a broken dishwasher, burnt out light bulbs, missing light shades, painted shut windows, curtains that wouldn't open and shut, bathroom in need of remodel, funky mattress and linens etc. The ample closets... more
