Stayed at the Hampton Inn Downtown/French Quarter on a recent visit to New Orleans for business. Being downtown was convenient for meetings, and location lent you easy access to the French Quarter. Bourbon St, restaurants, etc. all within easy walking distance. Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly.

This hotel exceeded all our expectations. First of all, our room was spacious. We reserved a simple double room and there was plenty of room for our family of five. We were not cramped at all. Secondly, room was modern and updated with similarly styled bathroom. Not sure if hotel has undergone recent renovation, but entire hotel was very contemporary.... More

We purchased the park and stay package which was a great deal because we didn't have to worry about an extra charge for parking and could get our car as we pleased. The rooms were nice, but I will say that on our second day our room was never cleaned or supplied with new towels even though we left for... More

I was nervous about booking the room because this hotel isn't technically in the French Quarter and I thought I'd end up having to walk blocks and blocks to get anywhere interesting. Imagine my surprise when I finally checked a map and realized that Carondelet Street actually turns into Burbon Street after just three blocks! We were SO CLOSE to... More

This was a great room! It was LARGE and very unique as it's in an old bank. It's a few blocks from Bourbon. We went out at night and there are a few locals that hang out looking for food, money, etc. I was a little unnerved but as soon as you get to Bourbon Street, there are lots of... More

From the bell hop to the front desk to the guys working the breakfast room, everyone was super nice and very helpful. Even though we knew we could save a couple of bucks by parking the car ourselves, we used the valet service. It was definitely worth not having to deal with parking in a strange city. We were given... More

Excellent service, great bed and pillows, very fresh and clean. Close to French Quarter, street changes into Bourbon Street, without noise of Bourbon Street. Within walking distance of Jackson Square and the French Market.

We stay at Hilton properties a lot, but this was our first in NOLA. We found it to be just as nice as some of the fancier hotels, but much more reasonable. The staff did everything they could to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The valet service was wonderful and the complimentary breakfast helped us save some money. Though... More

terrific staff and eager to help. the hotel was impressive and clean with a lot of space in the room to manuever for a family of 4. they gave us an upgrade which really helped. Only complaint was that they seemed short staffed at desk and breaksfast. Just couldn't keep up with demand and it kept people waiting.

We stayed for 4 nights. Perfect location within walking distance to everything. The hotel is on Carondolet street which is actually an extension of Bourbon Street on the other side of Canal Street. Close but not too close. Very quiet hotel rooms with large rooms and high ceilings. Black out drapes are a blessing for the awesome huge windows. Ask... More
