We had a wonderful room at this hotel. It was clean and lovely and open. So the room was great. However, hotel did not seem to have enough staff at the desk and the worst thing was the breakfast room. The breakfast room seemed to be running over with trash and sticky stuff on the floor. One day it was... More

This hotel is a good value for the location only a few blocks from Bourbon Street. The room was quiet and large. A nice bonus was the large complimentary breakfast. The staff was very helpful with questions and directions. Great stay!

I decided to spend my b'day week in New Orleans. I reviewed various hotels and settled on the Hampton Inn due to price, location & amenities. The check in process was smooth, quick. They have 5 elevators but only 2 work(????); makes sense. The room was nice, clean, roomy; just like the pics online. While ironing my outfit for the... More

I enjoy staying at Hilton Properties so I am very critical of my stay. This Hamptons was as good as any hotel, comfortable, low noise level, cheerful and helpful staff. My only issue was that the street was too busy to have a car and there was a huge wait to get the car back from Valet but then NOLA... More

We visited New Orleans for Jazz Fest. Hampton Inn had a block of rooms at a Jazz Fest rate so that helped when booking the hotel. It was pricey, but I'm sure it was because of Jazz Fest. At any rate, when we walked into the hotel, I was deeply disappointed. The lobby was nothing special at all. In fact,... More

Good morning! I am so glad you were pleased when you got up to your room. As you can tell, the hotel is a rather unique one in a sense that we share a common lobby area with one of the tallest office buildings in New Orleans. The design keeps us from being able to make it a plush lobby,... More

All the usual hotel facilities, but nothing special. Let down by 2 out of 4 elevators out of order, telephone not working and faulty bathroom plumbing. Breakfast is a bit of a scrum and expect queues at Reception. Redeemed by comfortable beds and good location.

Greetings to you all the way in the UK! I want to thank you for choosing to stay with us, but I am sorry you didn't love the hotel. I know the elevator issue is somewhat of a let down, but please believe me that we are working on getting them fixed/replaced as soon as possible. Hopefully you will come... More

During our visit, with key customers in attendance, we were notified upon return to the room that there would be no water available from 10pm to 6am due to the city working on the piping. When you stay at a hotel, usually tow things are taken for granted.... a bed and a shower. Take away the shower after visiting Bourbon... More

Hi John! I am so sorry that you were not notified at check in. We do put notices in every guest room, in addition to advising them at check in with a notice at the front desk upon check in. Unfortunately in the past, these utility companies do it and then give us notice, but thank goodness this time they... More

This Hampton Inn was quite a pleasant surprise from the other Hampton Inns where we have stayed. It is around the corner from the French Quarter in the Central Business District. You can easily walk a few blocks and you are in the French Quarter. There is a trolley stop on the corner, as well. There is valet parking in... More

Greetings from New Orleans on this fine first weekend of Jazz Fest! I am so pleased that you enjoyed your visit to the city. I also think the hotel is a prime location for most anything at all you want to do. Many people are so surprised when they walk in and see the size of the rooms here; it's... More

First let me say the location of this hotel is perfect, near everything, but not in the quarter. Our room had 2 queens, 4 huge windows, living room, desk and dressing area and large bath. It was more like a suite than a room. We usually stay at smaller boutique hotels in New Orleans, so I was pleasantly surprised by this beautiful... More

Well I am so happy that you ventured out of the Quarter to find a hotel; I'm even more happy that you thought your room was nicer than you expected. I do apologize about the elevators; we are in the process of having them repaired. We just finished a multi-million dollar renovation, and the elevators were last on the list.... More

Want to see New Orleans. This hotel is close to everything. The staff is very friendly and will make your stay so enjoyable. The rooms are very large. If you can stay close to the top floor for a view of the city
