Stayed here for two nights for business. Excited to stay in NOLA, location did not disappoint. Street a few blocks away from bourbon street and the center of all the action. Rooms were terrific - comfortable beds, big bathroom, clean, remodeled. Service is lacking, though. As a diamond member, I expect a bit better level of service. No acknowledgement, no... More

My daughter and I stayed here in two adjoining rooms for 5 nights, the week before Mardi Gras. The rooms on the 10th floor were large, quiet, and well equipped -- very nice for the location and price. Staff was helpful and there were no significant problems. Sheets were not changed after three days in one room, and the hotel... More

I haven't stayed in this hotel for a few years. I was pleasantly surprised hot well the hotel has been upgraded. It was nice before but now is even more classic. This is not your cookie cutter chain hotel. It occupies a building constructed in 1903, which was, at the time, the tallest (14 stories) building in New Orleans. It's... More

This hotel was in a perfect location, just a block and a half from the French Quarter. Everything is an easy walk in New Orleans and we wanted a place just outside the French Quarter to escape for a quiet place to sleep. The room was good-sized and the bed was super-comfortable. The breakfast provided by Hampton is always nice... More

Great location, huge rooms and complimentary hot breakfast. We arrived the day after Mardi Gras. Requested a corner room, based on the reviews I'd read here, and got 1105, which was sunny and overlooked the city in two directions. The rooms have high ceilings, large bathrooms and very comfortable beds. Ours had a king and a pull-out couch, as well... More

I picked this hotel after my research among the hotels in the French Quarter because it had everything I was looking for..king bed, free breakfast, good reviews and the price was better than most. It definitely did not disappoint. We were able to check in early, staff was friendly. The bed was comfortable. The room was not missing anything. The... More

I stayed at this Hotel in February 2015. The hotel was nice, it has a great breakfast selection included with your stay. It is a quick walking distance to Bourbon Street and close enough to the street cars to get you to the cruise ship terminal without needing to hire a private car. We did have a slight issue with... Close enough to the French Quarter to stroll, excellent service. The Hampton was a perfect choice for our Mardi Gras stay. Personnel are friendly and helpful. I'll definitely choose the Hampton for my New Orleans visits.

We selected this hotel due to past experience with the brand and enjoyed our visit. Even though we were on the 12th floor, we could hear some of the traffic noise, such as sirens (I have renamed NOLA from The Crescent City to The Siren City!) We had no problems sleeping or enjoying our rooms, as the noise was muffled.... More

Overall good place to stay. We have stayed there several times and have always been happy staying there. We plan on going there every year as we have been there for the last 20 plus years. The only thing we did like this time was the couple staying in the next room got into a big argument and kept us... More
