This hotel had an excellent location! It is within walking distance to the Convention Center and the Superdome. This hotel is only 3 blocks from Bourboun Street , but you don't get the loud noises and partying, very quite location The room was clean and spacious...the refrig and microwave came in handy as well. Finally, the entire staff was top... more

Stayed three nights June 8-11th. Had a basic King room-but the high ceilings made it seem very spacious, even had a view of the french quarter. Everything was very clean and room was always made up by noon. Breakfast was typical Hampton breakfast, but the fitness room was triple the regular sized Hampton rooms. Hotel was very quite, never heard... more

This hotel is very centrally located to the French Quarter and about a twenty minute walk from the River Walk and Convention Center. My room was quite large and spacious-everything was very clean. The bed was comfortable, and the free in-room wireless was nice to have. The only negative was that the large windows overlooked other hotel rooms, so it... more

Overall the hotel was fine. It was very clean. I wasn't crazy about the bed - just alright on that. The breakfast wasn't that great at all (I do want to say at this point though, that both women working as hostesses were wonderful, friendly and helpful and the food review is absolutely NO reflection on them). There was one... more

Hampton Inn had everything I needed for my stay: friendly staff, free Internet, nice comfortable room, free breakfast buffet, cookies at night. The only negative that I will agree with other reviewers on is the smell of urine on the elevator landings. I think it's probably the backing of the area rugs deteriorating rather than actual urine, but it's a... more

The location of this property is just great. It is just off the French Quarter and the St. Charles street car passes right in front. This gives easy access to the Garden district as well as the city park/zoo area. The hotel could be considered a 4 star at a 2 star price for the area. The rooms are a... more

This was a HH rewards stay for the Jazz Festival. The building was built in the 1920s by Daniel Burnham, about 14 stories tall. Beautiful old buildings that was converted to a hotel, I think, in the mid-1990's. I was on the Eleventh floor and it was VERY quiet. No street noise or noise from other rooms. The ceiling height... more

I can't tell you how happy we were at this Hampton Inn. We originally checked-in to a boutique hotel just around the corner that was recommended by a friend, however, we were stunned at the terrible condition of that hotel (I'll be writing a review about how terrible that hotel was once I gush about our wonderful experience here). I... more

My husband is a diamond member with Hilton and we had 2 free nights, so when friends invited us to a renewal of wedding vows in New Orleans, it was a no brainer, even if the location was lousy. Well it wasn't lousy. It was fine, except that during parade season getting across Canal Street can be tricky on foot... more

We had a spacious room, with huge windows on two sides. Our room was superbly clean, bed was comfy. Hospitality room was awesome. Breakfast was good. The hotel was quiet and perfectly located on the streetcar line and a short two block walk to the Quarter! Absolutely recommended - we are going again!! more
