Location is great, rooms are nicely laid out but beds are on he hard side and seem older. Bedspread is dirty and blankets have holes. Maid service is lacking. We completely ran out of towels, Kleenex and toilet paper and these items were not replaced by the maid. She also Ieft the garbage cans on top of our desk. Must... More

The price was right but everything just seemed to be misleading. The valet parking is $34/night but you can find cheaper parking in the area so it's not a deal or even very convenient. You would spend $36/night feeding the meters every two hours so that was the first clue. They use their "sister" hotel 5 blocks away for a... More

The location is perfect, close to the best restaurants, rooms are Ok, very clean good service, just remember the parking is extra $34.00 daily. a few minutes of Bourbon St. The party night Street. I recommend Acme Oysters, Carousel Bar, Oceana Grill, Daisy dukes for Lunch or Dinner and Stanley, and Ruby slipper for breakfast. Just the lines to be... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at The Blake Hotel for a Birthday trip we planned, and we couldn't have been treated any better by the hotel staff. A special kudos to Cheryl and Anita, who went out of their way to provide addresses, directions, and phone numbers to some places that we wanted to see. It's very rare to get... More

Just returned from 5 day/4 night trip to New Orleans and stayed at the Blake Hotel. We had room 811 - nice and quiet. Rooms on higher floors are much better. First let's start this by saying this is a Choice Hotel property which in my opinion is a "middle of the road" hotel chain - for a Choice Property... More

We had a good few days here. The room was clean and tidy. The location is good being only a few minutes walk from the French Quarter. There is an amazing supermarket called Rouse's just two blocks away for good cheap meals. Only issue was a mix-up with payment but that was easily resolved.

We stayed here for 2 nights in a triple share room. The room was TINY, very cramped for 3 people. We could barely move after all 3 suitcases were inside the room. The bathroom was also small, although the water pressure was decent. Location was excellent, one good thing this hotel had for it. We walked to Bourbon St and... More

We were scheduled here as part of a company trip, no pool, no gym, looks like the place was an after thought at the end of a office complex. The location was nice for both the Convention center and bourbon Street. Felt we were pulling teeth to even get the staff to say hello not to mention the elevator that... More

This is a nice hotel - not 4 star - but clean. Beds were not comfortable and very squeaky. Some updating had been done but curtains and bedding were old and torn. Carpet was stained. The location was great - a five block walk to Canal Street.

Location was okay but the room was small and the carpet was stained with a couple of burn holes in it and there was five of us in the room with 2 beds and a cot. Not much room to move around. The hotel has no pool and no parking. Parking that they do use is expensive, almost 40.00 a... More
