I was reading all the reviews and was very skeptical of staying at this hotel, but you cannot go by those because they are old. This hotel is under new ownership and all of the rooms have been newly renovated, there is new carpet on the floors, my room appeared to have new beds and linens. I was pleasantly surprised!!... The Parc St Charles is located just about 4 blocks west of the French Quarter, so is great walking distance to the bars, restaurants, and shopping located there. It's also convenient to the Arts District, plus the trolley to the Garden District and Uptown runs right out front of the hotel. The service was kind and helpful at all times.... More

I booked three rooms here for myself and six of my girlfriends the night before our week long cruise. The place was CLEAN and nice. The building is an older building, but we had absolutely no problems. The staff was very helpful. We would all stay here again. More

Easy access to CBD area and only a five minute walk into the French Quarter so location was great. The hotel is currently under refurbishment so it should get better and hence why it is priced much lower than the surrounding chain hotels. I had a deluxe room which was nice and the staff helped when things needed fixing etc.... More
