Well I booked this trip to NOLA back in January for the French Quarter Festival. It was a package deal (airfare/hotel) and very reasonable for staying at the Embassy Suites for 4 nights. I've stayed at many Embassy Suites and new this wasn't initially an ES. I've stayed at other hotels in the Warehouse District (Spring Hill & Staybridge). I... more

We travel to New Orleans twice a year for Bayou Classic and the Essence Music Festival. We have tried other hotels, but this seems to always be the best bet. The staff members are always friendly. A few of them actually remember us, I think they remember our children more than us. Breakfast is always a great way to start... more

It may be harsh to write a review for any hotel based on our one-night stay the weekend before Mardi Gras, since that is such a crazy time in New Orleans. But that was when we were there, and the stay was an experience! We could tell things were going to be hectic when we arrived, since there was a... more

We reserved the Embassy Suites for the first weekend of Jazz Fest. We used an opaque third party booking agency so I wasn't sure which hotel we were getting until it was already reserved. I was a bit concerned after reading some of the reviews about this hotel but wanted to say that we really enjoyed staying there. The location... more

Well, I see others' reviews and I'm stunned. We stayed three nights (the third night was free!) and had a wonderful time. EVERY ONE of the staff was pleasant and smiled and welcomed us. A special thumbs up to Roderick, the concierge. The room was fine. It was a suite with two double beds and a pull-out sofa. It fit... more

We arrived for our weekend stay to find ourselves, and several other customers with reservations waiting in the lobby without rooms as the hotel was oversold. Worse than the oversold situation was the front desk staff - manager was unable to deal with customers, front desk staff were surly and rude. After staying in a Hampton Inn 20 mins away... more

The customer service by the staff was my only saving grace. Everyone was really nice and helpful from the moment we arrived. But that's the only positive things I can say about my first and last experience with Embassy. My disappointment began the moment we pulled up to the hotel. The building is outdated and painted pink and green on... more

I stayed at this hotel for a conference and it was the worst conference hotel, ever. I have stayed at many hotels in many cities for a ton of different things, but this by far was the worst. Far be it for me to assume that a hotel called the Embassy Suites would only have rooms that are suites....I was... more

My first room had 2 windows right into the hall and one broken 2 ft dia. window looking onto the roof with all cigarette butts on it. After requesting a different room, I was given a better room with at least some windows but the trim was rotting around the sills. this is not the standard I expect from a... more
