Of all the Embassy Suites we have stayed in this was our least favorite. Our room (706)was nothing special and barely what you would call a "suite" as seen at other Embassy Suites. The pool is a tiny lap pool with few chairs, so not very usable. Be sure you don't need quick access to the French Quarter as it... more

Yes the hotel was clean... Yes its close to the sites... Yes the food was OK. But there was NO mention of the HIGH parking costs that were going to be added to the BILL! When I checked in I pulled into the parking entrance. There was a sign there that said "Unlimited Parking Privlages for Hotel Guests" No indication... more

What a great place to stay. The staff was so friendly and always helps with finding attractions or making suggestions about where to visit. The room was great. I had my wife and little ones and the way the room is laid out the little ones could watch TV and play games never disturbing us from resting. The amenities for... more

We stayed at this Embassy Suites for the first time, we are locals who wanted to play tourist in our own home town! The rooms were clean and the furnishings were comfortable. We were with a group so we split the quick cab ride to the quarter and it was well worth not having to park our cars a second... more

My wife and I were a bit skeptical from some of the previous reviews but our concerns flew out the window when we were greeted by Mr. Ricky himself. He helped us get checked in and was very personable. The only hitch was waiting an hour for a roll away bed but it eventually got there. As far as accomadations... more

My friends and I are locals from the outskirts of the New Orleans area who like to visit downtown from time to time. The reason we picked this hotel was its location to most of the hotspots in the area. From Harrahs to the several bars in the area, everyplace was in walking distance. No need for a cab. The... more

I was very pleased and satified. The only little knock I might have is that I had to call three times to make sure housekeeping was coming to change my linen and fresh towels. more

We picked the Embassy Suites because it was close to the World War II Museum and breakfast was included. We were traveling with my husband's father who is 85 years old and landed on Utah Beach on D-Day. He had wanted to visit this museum for a long time, and it finally worked out. I read some other reviews that... more

The Embassy Suites are okay, not great, just okay. This is my 11th time in New Orleans, and my first time staying here and I don't know if I would return here. Firstly, they put us in a room in "The Lofts," its not in the main building but in a building around the corner from the main hotel. The... more

I originally booked this hotel because it was allegedly the only all-suite hotel in New Orleans. I later found out that many of the hotels in the French Quarter offered suites, but they were booked solid for Jazzfest. Embassy Suites owns two buildings (a main hotel and an adjacent building called The Lofts), so if you book a room, make... more
