I needed to stay in NOLA for two weeks to do research for a book I am writing and came across the Creole Gardens. This botique hotel was perfect for my extended stay: the weekly rate was great; the location is ideal; the staff made me feel like family; and Miss Annie's breakfast is a must-have. I found my room... more

I've been to 12 different states and 6 different countires, Creole Gardens is at the top of the list. I felt like I was staying with dear friends more-so than a B&B. Whatever I needed, I got. My wife and I plan on going back to NOLA in the fall, there is no place I'd rather stay than Creole Gardens,... more

The grounds need cleaned up. I saw weeds and things needed painted. You park on the street and we found glass all over. The breakfast was good, but not plentiful. I think the staff needs to pay attention to how things look and room amenities. more

i looked for a place to stay that was affordable and had some character so it didnt seem like anytown, usa. i was excited to find this place which provided great rates for jazzfest weekend and also offered a daily hot southern breakfast! signed, sealed, delivered. when i got there, it was even better than expected. the staff is SO... more

A bunch of my fellow Team Yahoo!s stayed at the Creole gardens for the first weekend of Jazz 'Fest. The entire crew not only tolerated our unusual requests but provided excellent service, from the wonderful breakfast with live music to the ice cold Abitas at the end of the day. Bike rentals were the key to hassle free transport to... more

The people that work here make this place work in so many ways. They are so helpful, yet unobtrusive. I felt quite at home here and so did Dude, my dog. If you need any travel ideas, Madeline and John will come to your rescue. They are so helpful and sweet. Take my advice and come here for a great... more

Anyway who would rather sleep on the sidewalks than stay at the Creole Gardens obviously hasn't appraised the situation amongst the flagstones, for the tree roots of New Orleans' famous oaks make for less than level foot paths. That said, Creole Gardens is a fine establishment, located perfectly to give visitors quick, walkable access to: The Arts District, the Garden... more

...then again, the sidewalk might be better!!!! The people who have rated this dump a "5", clearly have never stayed in a place where cleanliness and service are as natural as breathing. I was directed to this place by the group I was meeting in NOLA for the weekend and each person was to stay in this hellhole. I toughed... more

We loved, loved, loved our stay. Our room was comfortable, cozy and funky all at once - nicely decorated - creepy almost with all the religious stuff, but this added to the unique experience that is Creole Gardens. The staff was very helpful and friendly, especially Madeline and John. They patiently answered all our questions and gave us directions and... more

I stayed at the Creole Gardens with a big group of friends. Most of us are artists and performers, so we can be a pretty rowdy bunch. The staff at the Creole Gardens made us feel right at home, and never blinked at our barefoot antics. The rooms were spacious and sparkling clean, and Miss Annie's breakfasts are the best... more
