The staff did everything imaginable to assist us. Both times we checked in late as we were traveling across country, but the staff had prepared everything for us and made sure we were comfortable. Dinners, tours and transportation were arranged for us or we were given detailed instructions on how to proceed so we never felt awkward or disoriented. Love... more

We had a great stay. More people should rent the bikes. Mansion 2's room was very romantic and cozy. The cook's breakfast makes you feel like mom made breakfast. more

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We really appreciate your kind words. The bikes are one of our newest additions, and we find that many of our guests truly enjoy the experience of riding down St. Charles avenue to soak in some of the local sights. At the Creole Gardens, every guest becomes part of our extended family....

We needed a pet friendly, casual, no hassle B and B in the Garden District with old New Orleans charm and quick streetcar access; CG fits the bill perfeclty. The entire staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and fun. We received great advice regarding restaurants and transportation. We relaxed knowing that our Toy Poodle, Chester... more

I started out for with a two day stay here, but liked it so much canceled my other reservation and spent the entire week and a half at this B&B. It is in a great Garden District location, one block off the ST. Charles Trolley giving you excellent access to the French Quarter, centrally located close to all that NO... more

I recently visited New Orleans with my family which included my two teenage children and their two teenage friends. We were overjoyed with the antebellum authenticity of the buildings, grounds, and the lovely 1807 designed neighborhood which it is located known as 'the Lower Garden District' or, 'Melpomenia'. A journey back in time is easy to envision, as there are... more

When you pull up the place is in a urban ghetto. NO houses or businesses. It looks like a back alley of some random city. Nothing pretty about it. The house is falling down, paint is peeling, trash all around and the front desk had filthy floors and windows full of cobwebs and bugs. The rooms well are average at... more

I needed to stay in NOLA for two weeks to do research for a book I am writing and came across the Creole Gardens. This botique hotel was perfect for my extended stay: the weekly rate was great; the location is ideal; the staff made me feel like family; and Miss Annie's breakfast is a must-have. I found my room... more

I've been to 12 different states and 6 different countires, Creole Gardens is at the top of the list. I felt like I was staying with dear friends more-so than a B&B. Whatever I needed, I got. My wife and I plan on going back to NOLA in the fall, there is no place I'd rather stay than Creole Gardens,... more

The grounds need cleaned up. I saw weeds and things needed painted. You park on the street and we found glass all over. The breakfast was good, but not plentiful. I think the staff needs to pay attention to how things look and room amenities. more
