I took my grandparents here to celebrate my 30th birthday, and had a lovely stay. Everything was perfect, and we enjoyed the quiet location and close walking distance to shopping and tasty restaurants. The courtyard is delightful, and I will definitely choose this place again during my next visit. Thank you for a wonderful stay! (I was actually there May... More

My husband and I stayed at Chimes last week. Since our stay included Halloween we wanted to experience the weekend away from the French Quarter. We enjoyed walking around the Garden District admiring the Halloween decorations. Jill recommended a perfect spot for dinner and Krewe of Boo parade watching. Breakfasts were delicious and informative. We plan to stay here again... More

My husband and I spent five nights at the Chimes last week. We could not have asked for a better experience. The rooms are clean ,quiet and very comfortable. Breakfast was great and it enabled us to meet and chat with the other guests. And nothing beats a glass of wine in the exquisite little courtyard!!

If you are looking for accommodations outside the bustle of the French Quarter, this exquisite bed and breakfast, located in the Garden District of New Orleans, would be difficult to surpass! It's location, on Constantinople, is ideal for those wishing to experience the beauty of St. Charles Street or browsing the shops on Magazine. It is approximately a 2 minute... More

My wife and I stayed at Chimes last week. We enjoyed our experience and recommend highly. Jill is a tremendous hostess with a wealth of knowledge about most anything you need to know about the wonderful city of New Orleans. Breakfast was a delight with wonderful baked goods brought straight from the bakery and interesting companions around the table. Jill... More

I was lucky enough to visit New Orleans for a second time this August and The Chimes was my first choice of places to stay. The Chimes is in a quiet, convenient and beautiful neighborhood between St. Charles and Magazine. Jill always sets a great table for breakfast and always has helpful recommendations of what to do or see. Go... More

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Chimes. The day always started out with an excellent continental breakfast but what made the meal was the conversation with our hostess, Jill, and the other parties staying at the Chimes. We were able to share our experiences of the day before and make plans for a thorough visit of... More

We recently returned from our first visit to NOLA and stayed at The Chimes based on a recommendation from a mutual friend. We couldn't have picked a better place! Innkeepers Jill and Charles treat their guests like family, and they are both so knowledgeable about their city. Let's be honest. We went to NOLA for the food! Their recommendations were... More

The Chimes is an oasis of charm and seclusion in the perhaps the craziest, busiest city in the world. Beautiful place and beautiful people! Some bed and breakfast hotels are actually in someone's house which can be a little too cozy for me. These rooms are in an L shaped configuration around a small courtyard which allows for lots of...
