Not quite understanding the high ratings on this hotel. Rooms are tiny, front staff at desk on night shift are rude and make you feel as if you're a bother. I tried to converse with front desk for some info on surrounding area and street car, but was rudely answered with short answers and the demeanor of don't bother me,... More

Be prepared to park 2 blocks away in a parking garage!!!! No mention ANYWHERE about this. Secured parking behind hotel is ONLY if you are SPECIAL enough to get a clicker to work the gate (ie check in early/if any are available). My family and many friends come to New Orleans all the time and you can bet this will... More

The hotel is definitely an older building which is ok, the floor to our room was uneven and there was quite a dip in the floor in front of the bathroom door. The room looked very much like the picture from the website, which I was very glad of. The a/c unit was like a window unit that went on... More

My husband and I chose to stay near the garden district. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the full breakfast was delicious and I found the front desk staff to be courteous and helpful. Parking is limited, so we left our car in the secure lot and took the bus into town and back every day. We would definitely stay... More

Room was small for 4 people and only had 2 full size beds. Hotel was quiet and clean the two most important things for us. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast...eggs, sausage, cereal, waffles etc. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Free parking!!

Hotel was nice. The St. Charles Trolley line is not working. Taking the buses was not fun - I do not care if they were air conditioned. Check were you have to go to and how to get around. Rooms are small - hard to fit small children.

We were meeting up with a group and staying at the Royal Sonesta on Bourbon Street but we wanted to arrive earlier to do a little on our own so we stayed at the Best Western here. It was such a nice hotel (better than staying at the Royal Sonesta) located in the Garden District, walked to the cemetary tour... More

We booked this hotel at the spur of the moment, after spending 4 days in Gulf Shores, Alabama. We have been in New Orleans before and have stayed in the French Quarter all three times, but the parking in the French Quarter is expensive, so this time we booked are stay in the Garden District which is only about 2... This was a very nice place to stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Had great breakfast spread. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed for the Running of the Bulls and had a blast. Close to where we needed to go, and once the street repairs are finished, the St.Charles trolley line runs right in front so getting to... More

We enjoyed staying in the Garden District. It was quiet & beautiful. The room was large, clean & comfortable with an extra vanity. They provided a secured parking area for free. Friendly staff. A nice hot breakfast was available in the morning. Fruit basket 24/7. A Restaurant right next door! Convenient to street car. Unfortunately for our stay the street... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our Hotel. I am so pleased you enjoyed your stay. The streetcar is currently not running due to road construction in the area, but there is a bus running on the portion of the line that is currently down. The RTA estimates that the streetcar will be back up and running at... More
