What can I say? I was most impressed by this place. The rooms were clean, the reception area was very historic, and the staff was very friendly and made sure that my stay was comfortable. I will definitively return, and recommend it highly.

The rooms were filthy with termites in furniture no house keeping was done other than to put in new towels that were also dirty looking. The building requires major work with a bad odor. The last night we insisted on being moved after a huge cockroach like beetle ran up the wall. They did transfer us to their other property... More

We enjoyed our stay at this quaint, quirky, historic inn. It was exactly as we thought it would be. The front desk girls were very nice, friendly, and helpful. The outside breakfast area was very charming and well kept. The breakfast was very simple, but fine. Was within walking distant to shops, restaurants, french quarter, bourbon street, altho we did... The New Orleans Guest House has always been a cute example of Capotesque southern charm. However now that the new owner has become entrenched what was once charm seems like neglect. What was once shabby chic just shabby (a lobby that smells like cat pee!?!?). For those who never visited when Ray an Alvin owned the B&B the the experience... More

Stayed one night, rooms were slightly dirty but the location made up for it, being a 5 minute walk from bourbon st. Staff was really friendly and the outdoor patio was a really nice touch. Would definitely come back if even in New Orleans again.

Went 10 years ago - this place is located other side of street from French Quarter, therefore less pricey (at that time). Parking has high gates, locked at night, to secure car. We rented 2 rooms on 2nd floor - plush carpet, vintage furniture, sinks, etc., but everything worked. Quaint outdoor porch where they served excellent breakfast (paper doilies, strawberries... More

My wife and I stayed here for 5 days and really enjoyed the location. It is a very short walk into the French Quarter and an even shorter walk to a little convenience store if you need anything. The staff was friendly and it was a perfect little spot for our honeymoon on a budget. Bring your own hair dryer... More

Room needed some major updating: bathroom mirror needs replacing, one area of baseboards needs replacing. The chair in the room looks dingy) more of an outdoor chair). Overall, bed was comfortable and looked clean, but there was a stain on the bedspread. The bath towels were thin (one even had a hole in it). Several cats outside. Outdoor breakfast area... More

I went the last weekend with a friend, we didn't have any idea about this place, but when we arrived there we were really happy to see is so close to the french quarter, is basically in the French Quarter is only one street from there. we walked everyday to the french market and bourbon street and it was really... If you're looking for an authentic hotel in the French Quarter - look no further! The hotel is very hard to miss with its bright pink exterior, I happened to think it was somewhat cute - others thought differently. The room that I stayed in was on the ground floor right in the courtyard. It was convenient to access -... More
