Yes it is old and a little musty...but it adds to the charm. We have stayed here twice and had a positive experience both times! The stairs are a little difficult to navigate with a large suitcase but we managed fine. I drive a lifted 4x4 truck and parking can be challenging, but we parked when we checked in and... More

This hotel is very well situated on the edge of the French Quarter within easy walking distance of many of New Orleans' sights. It is inexpensive, the breakfast is OK, the Wifi is good, and the staff are very helpful and pleasant. However the property has an air of neglect and the air conditioning is old and loud. It is... Firstly we were disappointed to find out that there is quite a high fee for the parking, secondly room was not too clean, thirdly there was no wi-fi in our room and to check anything we had to go to reception where signal was better. This was not ideal when you want to plan next day sightseeing but the biggest... More

Staying in the French Quarter of New Orleans, we didn't expect too much for the money, but oh dear! Very old, which is fine, but smelt musty on entrance. No lift, and no help offered lugging cases up and down. Receptionist seemed unsure of what she was doing, and we had to pay 20 dollars to park on the property.... More

I recently stayed at the guest house and it was a delight! Yes it is old but it is romantic old. I loved my room - I had a balcony in the front. Melissa is a wonderful young lady who was in the reception area. She could not have been more gemerous with her time or more helpful in safe... More

This quirky hotel is right on the edge of the French Quarter. Our room (9) was very small, but comfortable and with leopard carpet! Our group took up about half of the hotel and each couple's room was unique. (All that we saw were a little larger than ours.) The shared courtyard is great. We utilized it as a meeting... More

This place is very cute and is a good value. The front desk is very helpful and friendly and it was nice to grab a bite before heading out. It is a bit of a walk into the Quarter but worth it. A hop on hop off bus stop is near by so we used it often. I wonder stay... More

We stayed here for a music festival. We arrived Thursday night, was told parking inside their gate was $20/night so we paid it for all 3 nights up front. there parking area is very small and since we didn't arrive back from the festival until 1 a.m. every night we were the last car to park and were told to... What can I say? I was most impressed by this place. The rooms were clean, the reception area was very historic, and the staff was very friendly and made sure that my stay was comfortable. I will definitively return, and recommend it highly.
