My husband and I stayed at the JW Marriott hotel in New Orleans during the Jazz Fest. The location is terrific and the hotel itself is wonderful. The rooms are spacious and the service is great. Everyone was very helpful. We will stay there again on our next trip.

Typical Marriott quality, but an awkwardly set up lobby, that lacks the warmth and charm, and maybe the quirkiness that one may find in boutique hotels in New Orleans.

The Marriott now has very spiffy elevators that, once figured out, make it very efficient to get from the lobby to your floor. The lobby bar service was my only true complaint; they just need more help. The ones they have now are fine, just over-worked. Otherwise, the rooms, cleanliness, beds, location of hotel are all great!
