4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Not really! It was just the hot water pipes rattling in the walls of the showers. Apparently it does that in other rooms as well according to the other couple who went to New Orleans with us. The hotel was quite nice otherwise. Though, on 2 of the 4 days we were there we had to call the front desk... More

I definitely could not let the kindness and valuable assistance that I received from the staff at the hotel go unrecognized. From day one working with the team has been a pleasure! By far this was the most joyous time I spent planning an event and it was seamlessly well executed. I already miss working with the team! General Manager:... More

Traveled to New Orleans with my mom and aunt. Location: The hotel is in the Warehouse/Business district, but only 3 or 4 blocks from Canal Street and another 3 from Bourbon. It's also walking distance from Harrah's casino (if that's your thing). Also located down the street from the famous Mother's restaurant. Staff: The front desk staff and concierege were... More

I have stayed at the IC multiple times over the years and am pleased to say - post renovation- it remains the best option for a modern but warm hotel in the city. Situated close to both the CBD and French Quarter, the InterContinental has a wonderful staff and rooms that put other chain hotels in the area to shame.... More

After reading the reviews on tripadvisor, we decided to book at the Intercontinental. One of the comments that we did notice, was the feedback regarding the banging pipes (something to do with water pressure) after showering. We did notice this as well. There was also a drip, after turning off the water. The location was good...quite walkable to most areas.... More

Stayed here with my brother. This Hotel has been upgraded and it is excellent. Missed the complimentary bottle of wine in the executive suite but the room and the comfort made up for it. Breakfast was good, coffee was cold and I kept asking for hot coffee and it was still cold. Coffee is pour in decanters and left to... More

We stayed at The Intercontinental at 444 St Charles Street, near the French Quarter. We were delighted when we arrived to a great southern welcome and given an upgrade. We arrived about 9:45pm and at checkin the night manager came out to greet us. He told us that this is the suite they give to Sean Payton when he stays... More

Rommell Williams works the front desk and is awesome. He helped us with some issues (nothing the hotel did), and is a true Rock Star. The concierge service was awesome, too. I think their names were Michael and George. They made great restaurant suggestions. We were pleasantly surprised with this property but BLOWN AWAY with the staff. They were truly... More

We had a good stay at this hotel. Very clean, comfortable beds, good location, and service. Our only problem was some noises coming from above us. We were on the 14th floor and the gym was above us so we think it was noise from the gym. Parking is high through the hotel at $45 a night valet so we... More

From the valet, to the lobby, to the room...it's high end all the way around. Very nice finishes. Very spacious rooms. There is a parking deck located next to the hotel. Self parking is $25 vs $45 for valet. The hotel can become rather pricey, however, it seems to usually fall in line with similar rooms in the area. What... More

Dear Fretboard, Thank you for your 5 star review of the hotel. You are correct, there are other parking options available at all price and service levels.
