What made the trip so special was the hotel staff. They were 100% courteous and helpful...I was so impressed. The atmosphere of the Herman House was very "New Orleans"...loved the beautiful courtyard and the very comfortable room. The hotel is in the perfect location in the French Quarter...we could walk to everything. The staff went out of their way to... More

I recently stayed at the Dauphine Orleans and was very pleased I did! I booked a spontaneous trip to New Orleans and went on my own, and needlesstosay, when you travel alone, you don't always know the best places to go or the places to stay away from. The staff at the hotel were so very kind friendly and helped... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Dauphine Orleans Hotel. The staff are very friendly and upbeat. They were all very nice indeed. The free drinks voucher and complimentary water and wi-fi was greatly appreciated. Our rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was just what you need - buffet style - which is ample. The coffee was very nice! Our... More

No doubt, we would definitely stay again. We were extremely pleased with the main house deluxe king room. The posturepedic bed was comfortable and we slept great! The daily free water bottles, free bar drink vouchers, excellent continental breakfast was a great touch. Not to mention, the staff was absolutely hospitable and very kind. We received awesome service! The courtyard... More

Traveling with teenage grandsons to give them an introduction to the Gulf Coast, we began at the Dauphine, in the middle of the French Quarter. New Orleans is a high energy place; so being able to walk to most restaurants, music and pieces of history minimized stress. The historic hotel was refreshingly comfortable and the boys loved the salt-water pool.... More

This hotel is more for people w/o kids or those who can walk long distances. The small pool allows smoking and is near the bar/restaurant (tiny). You have to walk quite a ways to everything family oriented or pay for a pedicab or taxi (expensive). You have to walk past pool/smoking area to get to breakfast in the morning. The... More

My husband and I recently stayed at the Dauphine Orleans Hotel. Although I probably would not stay at this property again primarily because there are so many charming hotels in New Orleans we did enjoy our recent stay. At first glance we were not thrilled with our room. The room was huge with a large refrigerator, wet bar, desk, sofa,... More

Tucked away on Toulouse Street, this hotel is still in the heart of the French Quarter but on a quiet street off Bourbon. My room was huge with two balconies, and the courtyard pool was a nice amenity for summer. Staff, from the parking attendant to the front desk clerks, were so nice and helpful. I would stay here again.

On our first trip to New Orleans we were met with such hospitality and charm! The French Quarter was a delight. Our hotel room was HUGE by any standards, a large comfy king bed, sofa, desk, and refrigerator. It really had that "classic" feel with all modern amenities. After recently staying in four different hotels having their continental breakfasts, the... More

While the hotel was beautiful, rooms lovely and the staff extremely courteous, the guests were noisy and annoying when you are trying to sleep at 3 AM. If you are among the 20-30 age group and want to experience the boutique hotel experience, I would highly recommend it. If you are among the 45+ age group with young adults and... More
