Spent a total of 13 nights at the Dauphine, pre and post cruise with NCL. Most staff were excellent, friendly, and willling to stop for a quick chat. This was our first trip to NO. Wanted to find a hotel close to Bourbon St. This was perfect! Pleasantly suprised by how big the room and bathroom were! Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms in the main hotel are of a typical modern standard. Good value with the included continental breakfast, and great location. You might want to beware of the rooms that face the brick wall of the alley; there will be some noise from garbage pickup early in the morning, though none from the street partiers.... More
