They have a set of concrete pools that flow into one another along a beautiful stream. The top pools are heated with natural hot spring water and as the flow into the next pool a little cool water is added...making successive pools cooler and cooler...so you can choose the temperature(s) you like. Towering trees are overhead, making you feel like... More

The hotel was a little dated. Each cabin had two suites. We did have some broken windows and were missing screens. My mattress had to be from the 1970s and was incredibly lumpy and hard. The springs entrance was more than 800 meters from reception and then it was further down. The hot spring was interesting. I probably would not... More

We recenty spent a very enjoyable day at Termales del Bosque. For $32 pp, we had a great day ridng horses, having lunch and relaxing in the hot springs in a beautiful setting. The massages were very good and inexpensive ($30 for a 50 minute deep tissue massage). I wish I had time to try the facial. The resort was... More

We visited with friends the relaxing and beautiful Termales del Bosque in February 15 2015,staying two nights. Many individual pools of natural rocks, each with a slightly warmer temperature. We follow the downhill path of a rushing stream with lots of small cascades.Because of the constant vapors issuing from the hot springs waters the surrounding trees are draped with mosses,ferns,... This is a great place to simply getaway from it all. Whether you want to relax in the hot springs in the rainforest, purchase a massage or a horseback ride, or open all the windows in one of the many simple yet clean rooms and just feel the breeze, you will enjoy your experience here. Food was also very good... More

The hot springs here are one in a kind, you'll need to walk somewhat, but the moment you get there, you'll have pure tropical forest as your landscape whilst relaxing on the hot waters. there are several pools with different temperatures and the staff will come around time to time asking if you need anything from the bar. It's a... More

We stayed for one night in June 2014. We arrived late and checked into our room. The only concern with the room was the numerous ants. I assume they came in because of the rain. The next morning we visit the hot springs before checking out. We arrived very early and were the only ones at the hot springs for... More

I came for am afternoon and just got the hot springs. I've been to a few other hot springs in my life, even a fancy one at Arenal, not too far away but nothing compared.
