I simply cannot understand anyone giving this hotel a good review. We stayed here for several days as transitional housing. If it were not for the flooding and FEMA taking up the short term housing in the area we would not have stayed. This is a nice hotel. The entrance is kind of grand looking. The furnishings inside are a little more basic. Everything was clean, but the comforters were the cheap polyester kind and the towels were thin. There were scorch marks on the counter of the kitchenette. The Grandstay is very comfortable and gives you a safe and relaxing stay. They have a grill guests can use and a basketball hoop and swings out on the patio. My kids loved it and so did we. more
