Location, location, location and underground parking. In addition, the hotel has amenities such as continental breakfast, appetizers, desserts all offered in the Chancelor's Club/Lounge. It is a great place to meet up with friends and guests. It is a lovely boutique-style hotel and the General Manager takes great pride to instill "midwest friendly values" with his staff. As a guest,... more

Needed to visit the Madison campus on a business trip and had seen ads for the Dahlmann in UW alumni publications. The hotel is located on the campus end of Greek Row, Langdon Street, a great location that puts almost the whole campus in walking distance. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The lay-out of the rooms along the... more

I stayed here for five nights while attending a conference at UW. Rooms perhaps smaller than average but clean and in good condition. Complimentary cab rides to and from the airport, continental breakfast, and evening snacks. While I checked out Friday morning, the front desk was willing to hold my luggage until later that afternoon when they called a cab... more

My husband and I just returned from a weekend stay, our first in Madison. We booked this hotel primarily based on Trip Advisor reports (which have quite helpful before). Although the location was good--we were able to walk everywhere--the value for the $$ was just not there. Our room was clean but a bit dated and had an odd smell.... more

My husband and I just returned from a weekend getaway at the Dahlman Campus Inn. We booked it based on the reviews below. It's a beautiful hotel in the perfect location, right off of the main drag. We walked everywhere, from the university (two blocks in one direction) to the capital, the farmer's market, museums, and resturants (several blocks in... more

While I am glad that this guest had an overall enjoyable stay with us and appreciated their very positive remarks regarding the quality of the hotel, it does concern me that their impression was diminished by the guests who disturbed their sleep while trying to locate their own room. Fortunately, we rarely see this type of activity from our guests....

The accomadations at the Inn were excellent and staff so helpful and pleasant. The location is the best, close to State Street and the UW. The breakfast and evening dessert are a treat. We stayed there 5 nights to attend my son's wedding at UW more

My husband and I stayed at this beautifully appointed hotel for our 26th wedding anniversary . It is located at the edge of the Univeristy of Wisconsin, Madison , and the elegance found inside was befitting an anniversary celebration. As a matter of fact , I would rate this hotel number two in all the 27 years of anniversary celebrations,... more

This hotel is located right off of State Street - the main drag of Madison, Wisconsin. The perk is that it is not on State Street, but less than 100 meters away, so you don't get a lot of the late night noise. The rooms are cozy, but beautifully decorated. The beds are very comfortable. The staff is great as... more

After spending a long day in the UW Hospital where my daughter, a UW student, had emergency surgery we were looking forward to bedding down at the Campus Inn. When we arrived we were told they had an unexpected stay over and we had been downgraded to a small living room with a fold out couch. We looked at it... more

We attended a family wedding in August in Madison and were given a list of hotels in Madison. My cousins and I chose the Campus Inn and were delighted that we did. This hotel is small but very charming, beautifully decorated and very convenient to State Street in Madison. The room we had was a decent size and extremely clean.... more
