The hotel is fairly new, and does look nice. However it lacks little things that makes your stay better. The front doors are ones you have to push open, which is not easy while pushing a luggage cart. I requested a non-smoking room, and recieved a room that smelled of stale smoke. I stayed at the Wingate in Madison because I was attending a wedding that weekend. We were greeted courteously and very quickly upon check-in. Their shuttle bus driver was really great. The rooms were big and clean - just perfect. The complimentary breakfast buffet in the morning was terrific. I can't think of anything negative to say about the Wingate! more
