Nice, clean room. Friendly, helpful staff. Our shower broke the first day we were there, but we were immediately moved to another room. The hotel is kind of out in the middle of nowhere, but it was easy to get to and it made it easy to avoid the Madison traffic. Breakfast was good. Good internet connection - both wired... more

It was OK but not worth $100 a night. Our room was generally clean but the furnishing and bedding were stained. There was no chair for the desk and even though it was a 'suite' there was only an armchair in addition to the bed. The pillows were brand new according to the front desk and they were so big... more

One of the Best places I've stayed since our Honeymoon! Nice & clean pool/hot tub, clean & quiet room. Manager Aaron went above & beyond our expectations and was very knowledgeable of the surrounding area. Friendly staff. Nice place to unwind after a Badger game & celebration. Easy to find & great location if you're not into city driving like... more

FYI, this is not a Wingate anymore. Guess they have gone private. Clean, big rooms. Internet was ok, but could not upload files to youtube. Everything we needed for our stay. Manager Aaron deserves a shout out for all his excellent work in letting us borrow a knife and getting us milk for our baby. Ice cold beer in the... more

We stayed in this motel on our way to Apostel Island in June The attendant behind the counter was very freindly - but due to an over whelming number of people that had all arrived at the same time the check in was a bit slow ( understandly so ) The room was clean - nice beds - and extra... more

My wife and I stayed here for two nights while attending a convention in Madison. We chose this hotel based on some positive online reviews and photos of the property which gave us the impression that it was a very new hotel. While the staff was friendly, we did have some serious issues with this place. First off, we reserved... more

The property is located off the Interstate and relatively near Madison. The access to the hotel is (at least in winter) best described as a 1 mile motocross course meandering through cow pastures to return to a point near your exit point from the interstate. There are no restaurants in proximity. The property is older but reasonably kept. Management is... more

The hotel was nice. The staff was great. But the hotel location leaves a lot to be desired. If you are in to motorcycles, there is a large Harley dealer right next door. Highway noise could be a problem. The morning staff was great. Despite my problems with [--](I will never ever use [--]again.), the morning staff was understanding and... more

We've stayed here a couple of times while traveling on I-90, and been satisfied each time. Rooms are decent, breakfast, while simple, gets us going in the morning, there's a small pool, and free internet access. The only issue is the location. While it's right off I-90 and hwy 12, there's really nothing of interest anywhere around. It is a... more
