Enjoyed my recent stay at Hyatt Place. Staff were attentive, room was modern, clean and comfortable. Easy walk to State Street (about 10+ min. away). Lobby includes the breakfast area which offered 3 different hot breakfast entrees that look freshly made and appetizing as well as the standard breakfast fare. Lobby also had a coffee/food bar for ordering coffee drinks,... More

The staff was friendly and the rooms extremely roomy. The rooms had a nice seating area. Beds were very comfortable. The shower had a nice large head. The pool is a bit teeny but the footprint of the hotel is rather small, limiting the pool size. Elevators were quick. a definite plus for a high rise hotel. The breakfast was... More

Stayed here in early October. Good location, great service!! The lady who checked me in could not have been any nicer or more accommodating. I had a very nice room...huge in fact. Unfortunately, because I became ill, I didn't end up using any amenities. I just stayed cozied up in my room and watched a lot of tv. Very comfortable...also... More

Great location... my wife and I were in town for a Badger football game and stayed here. It's a hike to Camp Randall... about a mile and a half... but it's a fun walk going through the students/fans/bars to get to the game. The location for exploring the bars/restaurants/farmer's market of the Capitol Square is ideal. The east side of... More

We were in town for a concert and chose this hotel because it was near the venue. We had our 2 teens and dog with us as well as I saw this was pet friendly...Hotels.com didn't boldly state the $70 fee for the dog, but the hotel worked with me and split the difference. We also forgot my husbands money... More

We have stayed at this hotel numerous times over the past four years. Each time, it has been a pleasure. Very helpful, friendly staff, wonderful included breakfast, nice, comfortable rooms and facilities. Location is very convenient to the Capitol and business area, the famous farmer's market, as well as the UW campus. And in a nice area of town. Highly... More

Stayed for one night on a recent road trip. You can not go wrong picking a Hyatt Place Hotel. They are basically the same everywhere you go. You know what you are going to get before you get there. This one was no disappoint. It is located within walking distance of the capitol building and many restaurants. Our room was... More

I stayed at this hotel from Oct. 21-27, 2014. Since I had checked in late the night before, I told housekeeper on Wed. that I only need towels. Thur. night had some friends in room for a small wine/cheese party. Fri. left room at 1 pm and got back around 3:30 - room not cleaned. Front desk said housekeeping had... More

the staff was wonderful... and greeted me personally /and with family in subsequent trips to the lobby. the kids went in the pool and someone brought them pool toys ..it was clean and the towels were good. the hotel is downscale, but more upscale than many of the same H-P hotels. so I was satisfied overall. downside: they charge for... Very disappointing. I have stayed at and reviewed many Hyatt Place hotels - and generally I like them. Clean, spacious, reasonably appointed if a bit spartan. But this hotel takes the cake. Internet not working. "Oh, its just Apple products." Well, no, its not - my PC doesn't connect either. Snd even if it was, what percentage of people travel... More
