Stayed one night using Choice Privileges points. As noted by others this property has been recently renovated. Desk staff were pleasant and quite willing to help with a couple small requests. The property is better than most Econo Lodges I've stayed at and better than many Quality or Comforts too. The bed was pleasantly firm and the heat worked well.... more

Place has recently been updated although it is an older motel. New bathrooms and very clean throughout in the main building. Decent free breakfast with plenty of variety. I have paid a lot more for much worse accomodations. Will stay there again. more

My friend and I picked this hotel on a weekend trip and were really happy with the experience. We were in the "no smoking' building and it was convenient. We originally booked at another hotel to stay in Madison for 2 weeks--and promptly left after 1 night because they couldn't seem to understand that "wifi" (internet access) was a necessity, NOT "an option" for my husband's business. Checked in and right out of this hotel. The hotel is not clean. The rooms are very difficult to get to -- second story of an old vinyl-sided building -- no elevator. Room smelled terrible.
