Stayed here in April and May and and a great time in both instances. Came for business, but there is plenty to do for pleasure: State Street shops and restaurants, walking around the captiol, lake menona terrace. Price was very reasonable and my 14th floor hotel room had a fabulous view of the captiol. Bed was extremely comfortable. Had a... More

Stayed here in May and the location is great , right downtown near the Capital and other sights. Hotel has a good restaurant and food is excellent. Stayed on top floor and had a great view of one of the lakes . Costs are in line with any downtown hotel.

In a nutshell, this hotel offers location and quality rest. It is quiet, both inside:outside and room to room. The beds and such are not top shelf, but are very good. It is a block or so away from the Capitol (Wisconsin), and blocks from many highly considered restaurants. The bar has attentive and warm but technically (in a true... More

I was there for the ANI State training on Thursday and Friday and then my husband joined me for the weekend. It was very comfortable in both rooms and the transition from my working stay to my leisure stay was seamless! My colleagues and I enjoyed the training, food and all the ammenities. And my husband and I enjoyed everything... More

The Concourse Hotel has the Governor's Club which is worth the extra expense if you "enjoy a few cocktails". There are hors d'oeuvres around 5 pm and a dessert buffet right before the open bar closes. There is a small, hot breakfast buffet in the morning which has great coffee! The rooms are clean and modern. The pillows are pretty... More

Went to Madison recently for a weekend get away with my husband, this hotel is at the center of downtown and walking distance to the restaurants’ and bars we wanted to visit. The hotel is very nice and the staff was friendly. Made the reservation through a 3rd party website for a king room, when we got here they front... More

Tickets to a show at the Overture made us decide to just make it a getaway and stay in town for the night. We chose the Concourse because of it's location and we were no disappointed at all. Stayed in the Governor's Club which is the way to go. There is open bar time with hors d'oeuvres and a continental... More

The door locks to the rooms are broken and they poison people with food at their large receptions. They do not care if the guests are old or pregnant as they will still serve the contaminated food. Do NOT stay or eat at The Madison Concourse Hotel!

We went to the Henry Vilas Zoo, partied on state street, shopped for gifts, roamed the Capitol building, and played in the Childrens museum as well as swimming and eating in the Hotel. This hotel was fun, friendly, affordable, and the staff were helpful and the shuttle was an unexpected perk. A great place to stay and a great town... More

Comfortable, well-appointed, well-managed hotel right near the State Capitol and the University of Wisconsin campus. Good=sized rooms, helpful staff. Free shuttle to airport. decent fitness area. Worth splurging for the Governor's Club floor and accompanying food and drink.
