I've stayed at the Madison Concourse many times, most recently in June 2009. On most occasions (not all) I've stayed on the Governor's club level; with the included continental breakfast and after dinner drinks and dessert it has always been well worth the price. The hotel is advertising a recent upgrade to the Governor's Club rooms and it was readily... more

We stayed here June 17th to 19th. We chose the upgrade to a Governor's Club level king room with a view of the state capitol. The Governor's Club offers you many added extras.... Open Bar and Snacks in the evening. Private continental breakfast on club level in the morning, free wireless and a great almost personal staff on the Club... more

I am a native Madisonian and stayed here while our house was being roofed. The rooms are ultra comfortable, with fabulous views of the lake and capitol. Down comfortors and lots of plush pillows. They are more elegant than other downtown hotels, but somehow also less expensive. Great pool, hot tub, and steam room. This place is only a quarter... more

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel for our anniversary weekend. We both went to school at UW. We stayed in the Governor's Club level and it was worth every penny. The drinks were top shelf and the food was definitely more than your standard appetizers. The staff in the Governor's Club was wonderful - very friendly and... more

The Concourse Hotel is wonderfully located in Madison. The Capitol, State Street, and many other attractions are just a short walk away. We stayed in a Governor's Club room. We found it to be spacious and well appointed. The bathroom was absolutely beautiful, with lovely granite vanities. There were glass tile accents (with some workmanship problems) in the large walk... more

I've stayed here twice, both good experiences. The hotel is in an excellent location, close to the Capitol, State Street and UW-Madison. It has covered and valet parking (w/very low clearance for trucks/SUVs-have them valet parked or park in the public ramp across the street). The ambiance of the hotel depends on your point of view-it's better than many hotels... more

This was our first stay at the hotel. The staff was very professional and very friendly. We stayed in the club area of the hotel. Our room was smaller then I expected but very nice. "Flat screen tv is a nice plus. We had drinks and appetizers in the club area. Dinner at the hotel resturant was superb. What a... more

This was a really nice hotel, that was first-rate across the board. The staff was extraordinarily helpful and cheerful. We stayed in a regular room, as opposed to what we were told was the higher level "Governor's Club", and we were 100% satisfied. The room was a nice size and the bed was extraordinarily comfortable. Everything about the place was... more

We stayed in the newly remodeled Governor's Club rooms and I'm glad we splurged. The rooms still smell new and the bed was the most comfortable bed I've slept on in a while. We didn't have time to take full advantage of the Governor's club, but it does offer a beautiful view of the state capitol. The bartender was super... more

My husband and I and our 2 boys stayed at the Concourse hotel over the weekend. This is a beautiful hotel with first class service. We were there for a party that was held on the university campus. The nicest drivers took us there & back in the free shuttle. We swam in their pool which was clean and the... more
