We checked in at approximately 10:00 pm and were really pleased with the hotel and the room. We decided to go to the main bar on the main level and were informed that because we were staying on the governors concourse we could have gone to the governors lounge for free cocktails. I have been staying at the Concourse for now three college kids. They have always been accommodating and professional. I always try and stay there as it is easy. Great place to stay when you are bringing your kids to school or just visiting the Madison area. I have used the restaurants, lounge and exercise facility and all are good.

We stayed on a Saturday night. Our great experience started at check in. The valet parked our car and helped us unload our bags. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. Comfortable hotel one block from the capitol. Easy walking to good dining. Easy access to the UW campus. Room was quiet and spacious. If you can, book a Governor's Club level room. It is a little more, but you get free continental breakfast, and complimentary cocktails and snacks in the evening. Staff friendly and attentive, especially front desk folks.
