Stayed 1 night on our way to Indiana. Hotel looks just like the pictures and is clean and staff is nice. Room was small but nice and clean. No frig or micro and no breakfast but for the price we got a nice clean room to sleep in for the night. We would stay agian with no hesitation. Have stayed... more

Surrounded by many hotels, this was a great value. Room was clean and looks like they are renovating a new roof. (No, it's not red!) The King rooms with the microfridge are the way to go. Seems most of the Red Roof Inns have been renovated. more

Stayed here on our way to Minneapolis. Didn't have a problem finding it. Not staying at Red Roof Inns often (last was 10 years ago), I was pleasantly surprised. This one was recently renovated and was clean and comfortable, especially for the price. The front desk gentleman (Nick) was very nice and accommodating and gave us a recommendation for a... more

The hotel was easy to find with Google Maps directions, as it is located just off the "Beltline" freeway on the east side of Madison. Very friendly staff, decent room for the price, although the floor was very dirty (my white socks turned black on the bottom just walking across the carpet). Overall, the room could have been a little... more

Needed a stop in Wisconsin on our way to the Dells to meet some friends, decided we didn't need an expensive stay if we were just going to crash for the night. Problems: the place is difficult to find, even with mapquest. We had to stop at a hotel by the highway to ask directions (and you know how us... more

I would have preferred to stay closer to the campus area, as this hotel is about a 15 minute drive out of the way from that, but all of those hotels were 3 times the cost. The Red Roof was a good budget alternative at about $65 a night, and located on a row of a bunch of budget highway-convenient... more

This hotel was NOT what I expected. You enter the rooms from outside on a balcony after climbing a flight of stairs if you are placed on the 2nd floor. It was the state wrestling championships weekend and kids were loudly screaming vulgar profanities as they returned at 3AM! It was very scarey - especially since the door frame was... more
