The motel looks old when you drive in, but the rooms are very clean and spacious. There is also a swimming pool and gym. For this price it is definitely worth while to stay the night in Cortez. Lots of good restaurants in the neighborhood.

From the outside as you drive in this motel looks terrible and I was wishing we had chosen something else. We had 2 nights there! Anyway the bed was very comfortable, the pillows lovely and soft, good shower and a pool. What more could you ask for? It's just a bit old and shabby. And dingy. Breakfasts was included and... More

We were looking for something less pricey for a spur of the moment trip to Mesa Verde NP but clean. Within the last couple of weekends we had stayed at some pricey motels that were just filthy. So we were very pleased at how clean this motel was. It is outdated but who cares if it's clean and comfortable. The... More

Spacious and clean rooms. You get you moneys worth, cause it's cheap. Good WiFi. After reading about bedbugs in a review we checked but beds are clean, the matras is covered in plastic with three washable layers above it. Staff is very friendly. There's a pool and a gym (which i didn't check out). We were here to visit Mesa... More

This old and tired, but clean motel is outside of town, appears to have people living in some units, pool is tired, unheated altho warm when sun it out and hot, needs a good scrub (there was a tinge of algae), scraped and repainted, pool furniture is plastic chairs, nothing to lounge nor tan on, the place doesn't look well... Traveling on Memorial Day Weekend - No plans / No reservations - Living on the Edge. First we started in Moab (no rooms) Monticello (no rooms) Cortex (one room left) American Holiday Mesa Verde Inn. Beggars can't be choosers. Kind of scary, very run down, don't trust the pictures. But it keep the rain off our heads.

A roommate and I were staying at this motel and found a weird bug on the wall. After finding out it was a bed bug we immediately called the office to be moved into a new room. The owner was unhelpful and blamed us for it and wanted us to pay for the costs of killing the bed bugs. We... More

We appreciate you letting us know about this situation so we are able to correct it right away. These gentlemen have been staying with us for 7 weeks and complained of bugs. We inspected the room and determined the room must be fumigated and heated to kill any infestation. We would not move them to another room as their belongings... More

The single pro of this motel was its staff. All three staff members (two front desk clerks and one maintenance man) were very friendly. I almost hate to give it a negative review because tey were so nice. Nevertheless, I think it is important to be honest about the conditions at the motel. The motel is in serious need of... More

For a quick night's sleep, this motel is acceptable. The rooms are very outdated and worn. We were on the second floor, and the wood sub flooring creaked and made noise when we walked. I will say that the room was clean --which is one of the most important things for me-- but the shower was extremely vexing. The water... More
