Aneth Lodge is Ok for a short stop to visit Mesa Verde. Reception was good and the rooms while quite basic were clean and the beds were comfortable. Close to numerous restaurants and a short drive to Mesa Verde depending on traffic in the National Park

Yes it is not modern , which good with us. We had the cool bathroom tile also . Beds were new and floors were clean, show had plenty of hot water and we were over all comfy, we like the old road motor courts and this one fit the bill, I will come back again

Old time motel badly in need of upgrades. No hair dryer in room, small tube TV, no breakfast and very small room. Very clean with good wifi. You get what you pay for. Not bad but I won't be staying again. The staff was very friendly but even though I had called to confirm two nights they only had me... More

This is an old basic motel, Reception staff friendly & helpful. No breakfast provided plus no coffee making facilities in the room. Motel was pretty full, the price paid for this motel reflects the quality of the motel.

ditto all s/he said... very clean, very nice staff, and an interesting slice of life in a remodeled, family-owned motor lodge built in the 50's. would make an excellent and affordable location for character studies for my novel. frisbee the tibetan spaniel wonder dog liked it too!

Stayed just the night, we arrived a little late and our booking was lost so had to settle the payment in the morning which was not of any issue. The room was a good size with TV microwave and fridge. The bathroom like the rest of the room was a little dated but for the price you pay it was... More

For whatever reason, the week we were visiting the area was really pricey; maybe it's that way all summer in Cortez. Good for them! The area seems busy and growing. Cortez used to seem a little run-down to me. Now, it's clean and vibrant. Great park nearby, had a stellar early-morning run. We are trying to stay at family owned,... More

Spent only one night in this motel, on my way to Mesa Verde National Park. That's the only reason you go to Cortez anyway I suppose, nothing much to to in this town. The motel itself was pretty cheap and highly ranked on Booking.com so that was reason enough for me to stay there. The room was nice and clean,... More

Reasonable if you are looking for a low-price stay. The room design was interesting with the bath area separated off from the beds. The place needed some work-the bathroom window lock for example did not work. For the price, bring your own shampoo and the towels were very small. Some of the residents seemed to be long-termers and some were... More

Wasn't expecting much at the price because it's hard to find a pet friendly place. This place is pretty good especially for the $. Pro's- Very clean, quiet, friendly staff, especially the housekeepers Con's- Rock hard beds, tight parking, creepy people who "live" in the motel
