This is such a charming B&B. We loved it. The hosts David and Rebecca are just wonderful and really knowledgeable of both the house and the local area. They could not do enough to help us with our stay from reservations to recommendations, which were both excellent. We loved everything about this house. We stayed in the Blue Parlour room... More

Bed & breakfasts are a big deal where I come from, but since moving to the US a little under four years ago, I hadn't plucked up the courage to try one - until now. And what a great choice to start with!! This place is a true gem - amazing history (that our hosts David and Rebecca are passionate... More

This place is literally one of a kind since it was designed by the woman of the house in 1878. It was completed in 1884. The view from the outside is nice but the inside is what's special. The inside looks like you've traveled back in time to an elegant 1880's Victorian mansion. It is very decorative with stain glass... More

The attention to detail for each traveler's comfort is exceptional. The house is beautifully preserved to show how life was in the past. Due to the construction of the house the noise level from other visitors is minimal. Our room was very comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was an amazing treat of well prepared and presented dishes. The staff... More

Our first visit to Wildwood was in October 2013 (also our first B&B experience), and we stayed in the Barrett Browning room, which was absolutely beautiful. We loved this place so much, we knew we would return at some point. Our second stay occurred in February 2015, and this time we stayed in the Rudyard Kipling room. Also lovely....but our... More

Unfortunately we were only able to stay for one night, but definitely plan on going back to the Wildwood. Stayed in the Blue Parlor room. Well appointed and very comfortable. Having the attached screened in porch with swing was fantastic. Breakfast superb. Rebecca and David were exceptional hosts and their love for Wildwood definitely shows through. History and tour are... More

This was out our 10th Anniversary. My wife loved the Rose room and the Christmas decorations thru out the house. The breakfast was wonderful all three days. Not use to eating a three course breakfast. When we got there Rebecca was very gracious in allowing us to check in early and giving us a tour of the house. The history... More

I stayed here in October 2014. I chose the blue parlor room specifically for the porch swing. The room was beautiful, but a bit smaller than the others. I was on my own, so this was no big deal. David and Rebecca are wonderful hosts and the breakfasts are fantastic and huge! If you have any interest in historical homes,... More

This is our third stay with Dave and Rebecca and we cannot think of a finer place to stay than this beautiful, elaborate home. We were married inside the Wildwood, and it is our pleasure to go back to celebrate our anniversary every year. The Wildwood is so rich with history and beauty, it is like sleeping inside a piece... We had an amazing stay for my birthday! When we arrived Dave met us outside and showed us to our room where they had birthday cupcakes and balloons waiting for me! We stayed in the Kipling room which was so cozy and dark, great for sleep. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, the tour afterwards was a great bonus as well.... More
