Where to start...I decided to have my wedding reception back in August of 2008 at The Hamilton House Estates. My wedding theme has been centered around vintage glamour. My husband and I chose the Hamilton House for it's authentic, histotrical decor and vibe. Plus, we have had dinners there before in our years of dating. I have to say for... more

This was my first trip to Arkansas and my very first bed and breakfast experience so I really did not know what to expect. I had heard so many wonderful things about Hot Springs and my boyfriend booked one evening at the very romantic Hamilton House during our brief stay. We had reserved the Jacqueline R. suite for one evening... more

My wife and I are new to the area and needed somewhere to take her parents for dinner. We should have looked around more first. I can't comment on the rooms, so my review will focus on our experience in the dining room. Staff - The staff was attentive, although to be honest, we were the only people in the... more

First of all we would like to take the time to apologize for the bad experience this customer had. We of course strive for excellence here at Hamilton House. Since the beginning of 2009 we have made several changes to our business. The most prominent being the closure of the restaurant due to economic reasons as well as the fact...

My family and I did not stay at the hotel, but we had dinner there on the 4th of July weekend. We were extremely disappointed with the service and dishonesty of the staff. It took nearly 2 1/2 hours for our meal to come, and our bill for 4 totaled $270. We were surprised at the total, but paid the... more

Hello Everyone - The Hamilton House is WAY overpriced! The grounds are nice and the house is ok (although very old and looks like it ), but this place is a wedding mill; four the first day of our stay and three the next day. Staff was so consumed with weddings that they had no time for breakfast to be... more

We are aware that there were some problems in the past with guest not being notified of up coming weddings during there stay in the Bed and Breakfast. We have since then changed our booking procedure and try our best to avoid these situations. Our estate is a wedding destination, and we try our best to balance both aspects of...

I've stayed at many B&Bs throughout the US, but without a doubt this is the very worst experience I've ever had. Management failed to tell me me before we arrived that the first night there was a wedding which took over the facility and kept us up until 10:30 PM. The second night was even worse -- the Daffodil Ball... more

The guest were informed of the party before they arrived. Not just the wedding but, the Daffodil Ball as well. We even invited them to attend the Ball upon check in. They oped to stay regardless. They were also made aware of where the events would be taking place as well as when they would end. We did refund part...

I had the pleasure of sleeping in this magnificent home in Doc's Master suite. I have known this property for many years, as it was previously a well known restaurant. Although dining there many years before, to wake up in this villa was like magic. Doc's Master suite was not only beautiful and welcoming, but my boyfirend loved it as... more

My husband and I came to the Hamilton after touring all of our hotel choices in Hot Springs. We had slept in a hard bed in a horrible hotel the previous night and were more than pleased to find the Hamilton Inn. The staff were so generous and caring. They acquired flowers, strawberries and chocolate, and all kinds of little... more

From the moment I drove through the wrought iron gates of this estate I was taken back in time. The staff was extremely hospitable and warm. We were promptly shown through the formal ball room (1930's historic mansion) with the venitian chandelier,to our room. I've stayed at many bed and breakfasts and this one is truly my favorite in Arkansas.... more

I just had to write this review so another couple will not spend their hard earned dollars for this "ROACH MOTEL".................... My wife and I spent 2 VERY uncomfortable nights in a very expensive room!!! The bugs were horrible!!!!! The breakfasts were the same as an IHOP or WAFFLE HOUSE!! They were short order!! Some friends of ours had tried... more
