Ok first off let me say that this is a historical hotel with issues. It could be amazing but it's not! We checked in and then checked out. The room had amazing views (Parlor Suite). When we walked in I kept seeing dark spots everywhere. When I got close I found they were bugs. Then in the restroom I wash... More

The Arlington could be a lovely hotel but it has clearly not been kept up. The lobby is beautiful but that's about it. The rooms are disappointing and old. They desperately need a renovation. Beds are ok - quite lumpy. We stayed on the pet floor (6th floor) which is fine except for there's not really a convenient place to... More

We enjoyed the Arlington. Our room was clean, a decent size, and the bed was good. It was a King room in the historic section with a shower stall and no tub. Air conditioning worked great. Our senior rate of $99. for a Sunday night included a full breakfast, which was excellent. Very good value for the money. It had... More

This was our second stay at the Arlington in the past 8 years or so. We found it pretty much to be what we had experienced before. We like it for its historic attachment to the past and grander times. We really like it for its location. We park the car (free if you park it yourself) when we arrive... More

I'm researching to find who or what corporation/group currently owns The Arlington. They are pocketing sooo much money and yet so clearly investing $0 back into upkeep of this amazing hotel. The stories of its legends and history are beyond definition. I have family and friends that can tell personal experience stories of grandeur and luxury there from years past.... More

Very OLD hotel. I'm not sure I would stay at this hotel again. Back in the "Hay Day" of this hotel it was luxurious. The ice machines were VERY loud and so noisy. The hotel was clean and had a rich history. It was elegant. It was in a very good location. It was clean. For me, it was just... More

We stayed at the Arlington for a girls weekend - we stayed on the same floor as Al Capone frequented, and we had a view of the park. The toliet in our room would only flush occasionally, that was our only complaint. The staff was very friendly. We even had massages and mineral baths. This is a great place to... More

We had an over all good experience. People complaining have unrlistic expectations of a nearly 200 year old building. The architecture is beautiful and it is old, of course it will have marks on the wall and other such things a brand new hotel wouldn't have. The Sunday brunch buffet was really good, we loves the bar lounge Atmosphere on... More

I have not stayed at this hotel since 2011 when I had problems there, but decided to give it a try again. All I can say is WOW. This hotel is experiencing a rebirth and a makeover, and plans are to continue improvements. First, it is clean! The lights, chandeliers, carpets, and curtains have all been cleaned, and in many... This is an older hotel that comes with those issues- however- those issues are minimal and it does have some great things too. The best is that it is in the center of the downtown area & bath house row. Great shopping, restaurants, sight-seeing, and any spa service you could want are just steps from the hotel. If you want...
