This hotel was built in 1924. It is dated and has a very interesting history. This hotel really needs to be updated. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was great but the service was slow. The rooms are dated and really need to be updated to better standards. Personally, I would not have chosen this hotel. I was with someone... More

Hot Springs is known for many attractions, horse racing, gambling, Lake Hamilton, and it's nickname - Spas. If you are visiting historic downtown, and the historic spas, the Arlington sets the stage. This is an old hotel, an old historic hotel, embrace that. The rooms are well appointed, beds comfortable, wi fi, cable tv. The hotel is huge and up... More

This was our first trip to Hot Springs, and thus, the Arlington. I, too, read the earlier reviews before deciding to stay here and must say they HAD to be from persnickety travelers with no sense of adventure. Yes, this hotel shows some signs of wear. Yes, some rooms have dated furniture and chipping paint. Get over yourselves! It's a... More

This is the place to stay while in Hot Springs. It is full of history and is like a time machine that takes you back many years. This is not the place to stay if you are looking for the most up to date accommodations. It is old!!!! It is clean, roomy and beautiful!!! I will stay here every time... More

I have been staying at this hotel since I was a kid. I love this hotel and have many fond memories here. My family makes a trip to this hotel at least once a summer. The hotel is now totally non smoking on the inside. A jazz band plays every Saturday night from 8:30 - Midnight-ish. Great location for the... More

Stayed at the arlington for three nights to attend a family wedding. Our room was ready when we arrived late and was more than comfortable for an historic hotel with incredibly reasonable rates! You're not staying at the bellagio, but you're paying less than most marriott courtyards. Beautiful reception in the crystal ballroom and loved the bath.

Never disappointed. Although this old hotel probably has some maintenance challenges, it is still old school, historical and charming. If you love old hotels, this place is great, if you want the bland of new hotels, go down the street. Service is first class, lobby on Friday and Saturday night has a live band playing Sinatra and whatever else you... More

My fiancé and I spent this weekend at Hot Springs, AR to take a break from day to day mundanities. The hotel is a blast to the past and is well maintained. It really makes you feel in a good way like you have made a trip back to the 1920's. The room was adequately sized, our bed was comfortable.... More

I have stayed at the Arlington every year for about 10 years, the last 2 were absolutely terrible. I will start with their "package deals" I booked a stay with a dinner cruise on the Bell of Hot Springs, 45 minutes before the cruise I recieved a call stating that the captainhad cancelled the cruise due to rain...it was a... Once loved this old majestic hotel. Many past stays. DISAPPOINTED! Furniture run down, base boards coated in dust, ceiling fan has layer of black grime, paint chipped scuffed and the place is just not cared for. I love old and nostalgic, not old and nasty and rundown!
