We stayed two nights at this hotel and it is rich with history and ambience. Our room was large and the bed was huge and very comfortable. Room was clean. The only issue was the sink dripped and the bottom of sink was cracked terribly with black stuff (maybe mold) in the cracks. Since it was leaking I decided to... More

Just returned from my 3 night stay at the Arlington Hotel. This hotel was recommended by a family member of the person I was traveling with. I had read how old and Historical it was and while I am seeing negative reviews I was made to expect an old hotel that probably did not have modern renovations. And this was... More

It is unfortunate that this wonderful old hotel is in serious need of a facelift. Many coats of paint on doors make them balky to open. CRT TVs in rooms. Breakfast buffet had stale bread and rolls. Much evidence of peeling paint. Still use old metal keys for room access. I was assigned a room that was still occupied. :–(

This hotel is not worth the money. It's has a friendly staff and a beautiful exterior/lobby but that's the extent. The rooms were extremely out dated. There is mold on the air vents, lumpy beds, and extremely outdated rooms!!!!!!! Do not stay on the 6th floor...the pet floor... It smells just like a wet dog. It reaks!!!!!!overall experience ... Will... More

The hotel is very historic but really needs to be upgraded and refurbished. The bathroom is out of date, no towel holders, needs new carpeting in the guest rooms, needs painting. They also need fitted sheets for the beds. Light in closet is not functioning.

Ok first off let me say that this is a historical hotel with issues. It could be amazing but it's not! We checked in and then checked out. The room had amazing views (Parlor Suite). When we walked in I kept seeing dark spots everywhere. When I got close I found they were bugs. Then in the restroom I wash... More

The Arlington could be a lovely hotel but it has clearly not been kept up. The lobby is beautiful but that's about it. The rooms are disappointing and old. They desperately need a renovation. Beds are ok - quite lumpy. We stayed on the pet floor (6th floor) which is fine except for there's not really a convenient place to... More

We enjoyed the Arlington. Our room was clean, a decent size, and the bed was good. It was a King room in the historic section with a shower stall and no tub. Air conditioning worked great. Our senior rate of $99. for a Sunday night included a full breakfast, which was excellent. Very good value for the money. It had... More

This was our second stay at the Arlington in the past 8 years or so. We found it pretty much to be what we had experienced before. We like it for its historic attachment to the past and grander times. We really like it for its location. We park the car (free if you park it yourself) when we arrive... More

I'm researching to find who or what corporation/group currently owns The Arlington. They are pocketing sooo much money and yet so clearly investing $0 back into upkeep of this amazing hotel. The stories of its legends and history are beyond definition. I have family and friends that can tell personal experience stories of grandeur and luxury there from years past.... More
