My wife and I stayed one night here and we knew it was old and yes it can be noisy but that is just simply part of the Arlington experience. We stayed on the 10th floor in which we ask for because of the balcony which overlooks bathouse row and the park. Our stay was what we wanted, again, this... More

If you visit beautiful Hot Springs the Arlington is a must stay. It's rich in history and nostalgia. Enjoy the charm of hotels past where not everything is cookie cutter alike. The rooms are large and clean with some minor issues with dirty curtains. Very comfy bed and bathroom, with some neat older fixtures and tiles. The hot tub was... More

Not quite as nice as when I was there a few years ago. Enjoyed our stay though. We called reservations on Friday afternoon (8-15-14) and they have yet to call us back. We walked in on Saturday night and got a room though. We asked for more towels and washcloths and VERY promptly got more than we had requested. I... More

The historic Arlington was our family choice for accommodations for our second visit to Hot Springs and while we did very much enjoy the majority of our two days there, the staff in the salon downstairs failed to impress. I have still afforded the Arlington four circles because I don't believe the lack of professionalism of a few should impact... More

We were excited about going to the Arlington for a school reunion, as neither my wife nor I had ever stayed at the Arlington. The Arlington would like to bill itself as one of the ritziest, grand old hotels in Arkansas...WRONG! The first indication was the parking garage, which was located about a half a block away in a dark,... More

I love to visit classic old hotels, love the ambiance and the architecture. The Arlington was built in 1924 and is rich in history. The lobby and common areas are lovely. The rooms are very small. I ordered two draft beers at the lobby bar and was shocked to find the bill was $10.00. The bartender was snobby and not... More

If I were rating the hotel only on the room we stayed in, the rating would be much lower. But, the common areas were lovely. The location is ideal. The service was also very good. From reading the reviews it sounds like there are different floor plans and we got the noisiest location (overlooking central ave.). There was a lot... More

The lobby is way cool! I really likes the vibe honoring their heritage. The Magnolia Room was gorgeous, the details on the trim and the colors were classy and well designed. No idea about the rooms, but the lobby was fun, and the bar was classic.

The hotel maintains the "rustic" 1920's" appeal with it's period tile in the bathes and the small bathrooms. Definitely keep your voice down in the bathroom b/c the walls are very thin. Most of the staff was friendly but there were a few that seemed to need some refreshing on hotel/restaurant etiquette. I think it is time to update the... More
