A great resort suitable for family holidays or vacations. Spacious room complimented with hot spring bath tub. Staffs are friendly, always asking to help and provide their best service. Hotel facilities are perfect. There are indoor and outdoor hot spring pools, table tennis, billiard tables and a library lounge. Fun activities organised for guests at night such as bingo, art... We had 2 tatami rooms for 2 nights - 16th and 17th Dec. If this hotel's goal is to offer a ryokan experience, then it succeeds. Service staff is fabulous. There is nothing that one can complain about in the rooms. It's clean, spacious and every amenity that we needed was available. The hotel has a big range of facilities... More

All the rooms are Japanese style. However with a real bed and no Futon. Every room got a bath tub which can be filled with water directly from the hot springs. The hotel is well maintained, even though it is little old now. We enjoyed dinner and Breakfast in the restaurant and it offers a great variety of options. Additionally... More

Our room was on the 3rd floor with a nice city view. The room size was rather small for our family of 3. The layout of the room was a little confusing and space was tied which explains the reason for having Japanese style tatami beds which housekeeping will layout for all tatami style bedrooms between 6 to 9 pm.... The hotel is conveniently located near the Chiao Hsi bus station. The hotel has a shuttle bus which will take the guests from the bus station to the hotel. This hotel is about 1 hour car ride from Taipei. I definitely recommend staying there for a night or two there if schedule allows The hotel is well kept. Room and... More

Stay 2 nights there. Worth to be called as SLH. Employee is gentle、carefully and friendly. Facility is not so new but well treated. Buffet is good, too. If ask me one thing which is not satisfy me. It would be, can't feel passion from some employee even they still gentle.

Great and relaxing, highly recommend to go for the Early morning hiking trip (free by hotel), to get some fresh air and see the waterfall. For the food, it is very nice at their restaurant for the breakfast and dinner buffet. Must try their indoor onsen, like a japanese style and very clean.

Nice room with the private hot spring bath indoor. However, I find the room design is not user friendly. It took me a long time to find where the wardrobe, there are steps to the bed, which is quite dangerous. The toilet is tiny and hidden... It is not worth the money spent... Not a place I want to return.

I see so many good reviews and wonder if the hotel is finding it hard to keep up the good work. It was a business meeting plus one night stay; hotel was packed despite a weekday. One part of restaurant's buffet line was so narrow it caused severe traffic jams. The japanese style rooms have confusing layouts (toilet hidden like... More

This hotel is a typical 5-star Japanese Hot Spring Hotel in Yilan Chiao Hsi. There is indoor hotspring pool inside the room and the room style is Japanese one. We felt like we stayed in Japan. There are also various kinds of outdoor hotspring, e.g. fish-massaging, herbs pool, massage pool, etc. All are decorated very nice in Japanese style. Breakfast-wise,... More
