We stayed for three nights and it turned out to be a nice place to stay. The first night we stayed in the cheap cabana which is perfect if you are young, have a budget and a cute partner who only wants to suck on your cocktails and blow your candle out. If this is the case stay for as... More

Beautiful cabanas set in an exquisite garden. Stay here if you can! Chill areas supported by great chill-out music. Board hire available if you wanna surf. Very close to the Kamana National Park which is a must, along with the forest hermitage and amazing views over endless forests... Thanks Saman...

The love put into this place is more then explained not only in the deco but also the dedication and effort put into it. Rooms are spacious, super clean and vary from showers baths and hammocks. You have local shops and restaurants all around the street and surf boards to rent. Close to the sea and the jungle, perfect spot.... More

We stayed in July 2014. Slow at getting around to reporting but it needs to be done! The managers are young guys and brothers. If the expression "too cool for school" can be used than this applies to this joint. After a day of beaching we returned to our bungalow (nothing fancy) and the owners had removed a seat and... Arrived here at night after a long 9 hrs drive from Colombo (costing 23000 srilankan rupees- fair price) to be housed in a deluxe room, looked good but the toilet was awful, cockroaches running around, that night was terrible for me. Luckily in the morning the friendly manager cum owner shifted us to the villa costing 120 $ instead of... More

Surf N' Sun is easily one of the best guest houses along the main strip. There is a very cool lounge area in the front that makes for a great place to relax and read a book in the day or enjoy a cocktail from the famous cocktail waiter Jo, at Surf 'N Sun (the best in A-Bay) by night.... More

We had good rice'n'curry at the Surf'n'Sun. The staff was very friendly but the best was the romantic location, we had our own little hut for dinner, everything was lit with candles. Really recommndable for a nice evening

Grate place! Beautiful and peaceful surrounding garden, green and carefully designed. Rooms are clean, and aesthetic, all in a quite and lovely environment. Staff is pleasant, thoughtful and supporting. Cant wait to come again!

If you go to Surf n Sun expecting perfection and polish you won't get it. Though if you go for a relaxed beach side stay, in beautiful surrounds, at a reasonable price, in a basic but more than serviceable beach villa you will be well satisfied. The villa's don't have beach frontage though it is only a 2 minute walk... More
