I have been to this hotel before and service had been greater. My previous trip to this hotel has been a better one and I truly enjoyed my stay. Unfortunately, during this trip I have received a room overlooking vehicle parking and we didn't have a good view at all. Room was not equipped with all facilities, electric plug points... More

I actually Stayed last year, but looking back over our tour inc 4 hotels this was my Favourite. the staff were amazing, made me feel really special. When they ran out of ginger tea, they went and got some ginger to grate especially - can;t fault any of the staff. I Loved sitting on the balcony sipping ginger tea AND... More

While I fully accept that this hotel prides itself on its colonial heritage, it's probably time for it to embrace some of the 21st century. On the positive side, beautiful gardens, very quiet, rooms were a nice sixpence, tea on the patio was good and the food was excellent. However, no pool, no area suitable for children to unwind except... More

We stayed for two nights on half board basis. The rooms are fairly big but as in previous reviews the thing we found with Jetwing in general is the maintenance leaves a lot to be desired. The staff were friendly, the grounds were lovely, and the hotel could be stunning but why would you have a grafitti room in a colonial hotel Had... More

We stayed at the St Andrews hotel for two nights so we were able to visit Horton Plains National Park. We had a very relaxing time in this hotel; it is in an ideal location to explore Nuwara Eliya and to take many trips from there. The hotel was different to the others we had stayed in on our trip... Stayed 2 nights and had a fabulous suite room this was an upgrade (with free cockroach!) The hotel is a bit tired and shabby - not just old world charm. Food is just ok nothing amazing, staff are nice enough but service levels are just ok, nothing special. Lovely gardens. Not sure I would return.

A place worth staying- one night at least. We spent a night before going to Yala Nature park-a perfect location. Rooms are kept in colonial style with true and real atmosphere around- furniture, decorations. About the facilities available- perfect, even excellent wide choice restaurant, library room with a real fireplace, billiard and kind and professional service above it.

A real gem of a Colonial hotel. Built about 130 years ago they have retained so much of the original atmosphere. The rooms are ok and the dining room and bar are original gems. the only let-down was the absence of a pool. I played the golf club which again was a colonial gem, about 5 minutes in a Tuk... More

We stayed just one night as part of a tour of Sri Lanka. We loved the room, the location and the food. Internet is free and works well We enjoyed the cocktails especially the tea based ones. The food was Jimmy. Would have given five stars but the building of an extension resulted in some noise and the lovely gardens... More

This is an old colonial hotel originally built early in the 20th century but modified and added to since. As such, it stil retains much of its early character such as a couple of rooms at the front with old colonial style bookcase and furniture and a bar area which probably hasn't changed in 100 years except for the addition...
