Peaceful and Quiet. Situated inside a forest trail, the hotel offers peace and no frills to travelers after a long tiring day. The staff are very hospitable and helpful. Breakfast spread is excellent and can cater to the entire family. The place makes it very serene and scenic. Enjoyed staying here.

We stayed here after visiting Kandy. We have No problems with the hotel other than the meals. The rooms are excellent, and the location is very relaxing next to some vegetable farms and within walking distance to the Roberts Lake. Service through-out the hotel is good & friendly. Check-n was smooth. Breakfast is excellent, but all the set meals (main... More

Full of crap...not even an ordinary hotel... it smells like 100 times of a rotten egg. Our room was on 3rd floor, when we entered it was sufocating and we could hardly breath so we opened the windows for fresh air to pas but unfortunately we welcomed so many flies hence we had to close them.. bathroom was tiny and... Peaceful and quiet, the hotel is located in the forest and has not much to offer except a quite night in a little bit run down hotel. Buffet diner was alright, although I thought the 3 musicians were too noisy and it was difficult to have a decent conversation. The staff is friendly.

Secluded but lovely atmosphere ,at first glance, you would think its a house but nope. Rooms are simple but classy , but you would be looking for the fan and aircon ,then you would realise its too cold for the 2 electrical items . Service is fast & good. Food is good . Language spoken is English ,if you don't... More

We arrived here after travelled by train from Kandy. It was really good with some quietness after the noisy traintrip. As the hotel is located in the forest there was not much noise. Just a few cars and two gunshoots! The rooms were ok and since this hotel is High up in elevation there were no problem with heat. Even... More

As Nuwara Eliyja nice, so this hotel bad. Smelly, dirty, cold noisy, outside the city in the middle of nowhere, no possibility to have a walk or spend a minute on the bank etc. And our experience in so called Duke' s restaurant - so dirty tables etc. I've never seen before. The quality of the food was ..... not... More

Stayed for just one night with a small group tour. After reading some of the reviews I wasn't looking forward to it, but have no complaints at all, apart from not being able to change Aussie dollars. Our room was on the second floor overlooking the road and vegetable farm opposite, which was a very pleasant outlook. The room was... More

We visited Sri Lanka in 2010. Galway was an average stay with compact rooms. The food was average too and cleanliness needs to be taken care of. The hotel is situated in d interiors which makes it a nice and peaceful location.
