Great people, great Sri Lankan food and great unique tea experience. The owners really made us feel welcome and catered to our every need, including those of a picky toddler. Laid back and peaceful atmosphere with everything you may need to buy in town 10 minutes away. Highly recommended.

We stayed with Bernard & Pauline for four nights at the end of a hectic tour of SL. It was a good opportunity to recharge the batteries and enjoy the delicacies coming out of Pauline's kitchen. Bernard, an expert on everything to do with tea, took us on a tour through the scenic back-roads of the tea country, as well... More

We spent 2 nights at Ebony Springs & we love visiting the place at least once a year. The quiet environment, beautiful garden and comfortable home of Bernard & Pauline Holsinger provides for a wonderfully relaxing holiday, if you are looking to relax, refresh & re-charge. The food....is heavenly!! And we got to try our hand at making our own... More

I stayed three nights here, and impressed by the hospitality and hard work of the owners, Bernard and Pauline Holsinger. I joined Specialty Tea making in their small tea factory with the ladies who are clever with their fingers. Meals and teas are excellent, as Pauline cooks by using spices, herbs and coconuts grown on the premises, and Bernard knows... More

Bernard and pauline, the hosts of this fantastic homestay are very nice and lovely people. The food, fresh cooked by pauline is very good! Bernard tells interesting facts about tea. The landscape is very beautiful and it is a really quiet place with nice rooms 😃.

Ebony Springs is a welcome retreat, with the hospitality of owners Bernard and Pauline Holsinger. Up close and personal experiences of tea plantation life, staying comfortably, and enjoying immensely their Sri Lankan meals, made us feel so very welcome. We will return, gladly!
