It's a great place to stay in Nuwara Eliya-within walking distance of the town center. Rooms are neat..the wooden decor adds romanticism. The best part about the hotel is its service-you name it and they have it. They even customize food for u. Our driver didnt have a place to stay and the manager immediately made arrangements for him-at his... More

We stayed as a couple in one of the family sized rooms with the upstairs loft. This upstairs area is very badly constructed with unevenly spaced stair risers and round timber beams which are undersized so that the ply floor bounces alarmingly. We decided not to go there. The walls separating us from the adjoining unit comprise stacked round Logs... More

The place is very cozy, nice and clean, and friendly staff. Our room had a cute loft above it as well. Nice views from the rooms. Only had breakfast there but it was nice enough for complimentary breakfast. Fruit and eggs and toast. They would not serve the Sri Lankan breakfast items which was a bit disappointing. Overall would recommend... More

Very nice place and an excellent team to help you... good food and great value for money... location is another plus as it is right next to the golf course and also near the lake. Very nice cottage made of logs.. Would surely stay there again..

Let's start with the positives - of which there are plenty. The staff are extremely welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble - cups of tea, homemade cake, even a hot water bottle for the bed. I really liked the food - very wide choice of Sri Lankan and international food. Only ate SL curries which were excellent including fresh veg... More

Upon arrival at hotel since the weather was rather cold and rainy we we're thrilled to be offered a cup of tea and coffee which is just what you need when you get into Nuwara Eliya! The staff are incredibly friendly and intuitive and do their best to see that all your needs are met. After we checked into our... More

Booked for 1 night. The hotel does not look like in the pictures. It is behind another building, so you cannot see it from the street. Staff is friendly but doesn't speak english. Room was dark but tidy, bathroom on the other hand was not pleasant. We got a breakfast to go as we left allready at 5am to go... More

We'd heard very bad things about accommodation in Nurawa Elia so we were very relieved to stay here. We liked the comfy and very clean log-cabin style rooms, the big comfy beds, the warm welcome and drinks on arrival (especially the wood apple juice). They had kettles in the rooms and hot water (essential). It's a good central location for... More

This place is just plain awful... The cabins are musty and smell awful. The bathrooms floor was just bare concrete and reeked! This is at best a two star budget place. The walls are really thin and you get zero privacy. The restaurant food was awful and there was a hair in my food. I would have changed hotels after... More
