I select this place when I go to nuwara eliya for few reasons. 1. Friendly and known staff 2. Reasonable pricing 3. Cleanliness However, now the prices of the rooms and specially the price of meals have increased without providing any added benefits. Sometimes the hot water does not work and items you have not ordered appear on the bill.... More

Stayed one night with our driver. Was drizzly and cold. Huge room, spotless bathroom. Thin doonas but given another blanket. Very helpful staff. Had dinner, delicious fresh vegie soup and devilled chicken and rice, all cooked freshly to order. 5 min tuktuk ride, Rs150.

Awful hotel if you travel in group. There is no hot water, staff always forgets what food you had ordered. Food is cooked veery veery slowly. And sometimes it is burned. So, my advice-try to avoid ordering food here

Nothing much to complain about at this budget, staff were friendly made us a fire in the eavning breakfast was good but dinner was not so good but the Grand indian was closed.. A little smell of sewage but that went away after using the showers.

I select this place every time i go to nuwara eliya. The staff is so helpful and pleasant. The rooms are good with hot water facilities. The sri lankan breakfast is superb. The weather was terrible, being cold and wet. The first room we were given was damp and rather dirty. We were offered two others, one of which had not been cleaned since the previous guests. My husband and I loved it here. The staff really made us so comfortable. The bed and thick doona were "The Best". The food also amazing. I was even given an informal cooking class. Loved it. We stayed at the Haddon Hill Hotel for one night - the room itself was rather small but clean and comfortable despite the size, the bed was good and bathroom clean.
