Very pleasant stay - it was a shame that it was for only 1 night. The staff were very attentive and the Sri Lankan food was really good. Great to have wifi in the room. Also this place has a DVD player and a huge TV in the room. I look forward to coming back again.

Booked the hotel for 3 nights but rarely stayed in the hotel. First night itself family had a bad experience. We were asked to pay for 3 nights in advance and when we requested that we will pay half now and half 2 days later, manager behaved very rudely mentioning we can leave if we do not want to pay.... There is a very good service. When I told the doors were low and i would damage my head we got immediately another room. The staff is very friendly and polite. There is a fair price for the dinner, dinner was very good.

Very clean and friendly hotel situated on hilltop. Meals cooked to order, impeccable service with food served on heated plates. Staff was exceptionally efficient, helpful. Hotel also can book tours of the area.

Overall, an excellent heart warming experience for short break. We stayed for three nights and our review is as follows: Service: Superb. The staff were extremely attentive, diligent, hardworking and personable. I found the service here far better than that of most 5 star hotels we have stayed in. I think the key distinguishing feature here, which applies to Sri... More

We stayed as part of our tour of Sri Lanka. We used this as a base for Horton Plains so the location was great. The first room we were given was not the room we had booked but they changed it as soon as possible. It didn't take anything away from the experience. The food was cooked to order as... More

Lovely place in the beautiful hills of Nuwara Elyia. Staff go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Food is amazing (although definitely on the European side rather than local touch) and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The hotel surroundings are very "English garden" like. there is even a small vegetable patch! We... More

Stayed 1 night on route to Horton Plains- nice old bungalow- with small gardens ( no view). The bedroom felt a little musty. The bathrooms shower worked well - hot and efficient..but dated. Staff were helpful and friendly, we had a menu ( with prices) and had a nice 5 course meal, good service but sadly only 1 bottle of beer... More

Had a wonderful time staying in this property for 2 nights in dec last year. The management was humble and friendly. The view from the room was mesmerizing. The rooms were clean, had heaters- a boon since the temperature is quite low there.

We enjoyed our one night stay here. The lobby and our bedroom were charming and rustic, but the bedding smelled slightly stale and the bathroom is probably nearing the end of its refurbishment cycle and in need of a refresh. For dinner, a small menu was offered. My partner had the roast chicken and I had the Sri Lankan rice... More
