Situated on a very high point just 5 minutes from the city center it has a breath taking view. Most days Adams Peak (Buddhist pilgrimage site) can be seen very clearly. Although not luxurious it is clean and functional. Beds are comfortable. Food is very tasty and the chef will prepare some dishes on request. Especially Sri Lankan cuisine. Staff... More

Our driver took us to Binota in Nuwara Eliya, most of his choices were good but this one wasn't up to scratch - although the owner was very friendly & helpful, the room wasn't very clean (fridge was dirty and the mattress could be seen under the sheets to also be visibly soiled). It's prob a 15 walk to Nuwara... More

I stayed here in May, just after the season, as a single female on a private tour with a driver. The hotel has good location - 5 min walk down to the lake and park conservation area (worth just paying the Rs200 rupees for foreign adults, goes round the corner a bit further). The hotel room had the modern comforts... More

A quaint, family run - tour group hotel. Has an odd feel to it, and rather thin walls (!!). The rooms were spacious but a bit cold, and dated. The food left much to be desired as we had to order from the set menu. Questions arise about the tea soup (was it really just last nights vege soup?) however... More

I was in nuwara eliya with family fir 2 nights. Stayed at this cute hotel for my holidays. The hotel is a converted bunglow. The amenities may not be top class but quite functional. Rooms are not so large. The bathrooms and rooms are clean though. Best thing we liked about this place was the service attitude and customer orientation... More

Only stayed here for 1 night but wish it could have been longer. The staff are really helpful and friendly and the food served is excellent both breakfast and dinner. The views from the hotel are beautiful.

Great views and a tasty breakfast. The staff was very friendly the whole time. The only problem I had was with the carpet in my room that was wet, probably because of the heavy rain and water infiltration.

We stayed one night in a group of 6 pax. The rooms were not very big but sufficient. A little bit musty due to the weather . The service was very good and staff helpful and friendly. I stayed here on a short trip to the area. Just average really ... my main complaint being it was very cold. The rooms average and you must heat the water and wait 30 minutes if you want a hot shower. The temperature outside was particularly cold but the hotel doors in reception were left open all evening and i... More
