We called a day in advance to ask of there were any rooms left and the price (3500 LKR with breakfast he said at the telephone). We arrived at the place and got a room. The location is far out of the centre, so very time you need a tuktuk to get somewhere or to eat. As we asked at... More

The host was very friendly and helpful for organising things. The food is good and will be cooked under your noes in the huge living room/kitchen/dining room. The house was a bit humid although that was due to the season. Our room and especially bathroom could do with being freshened up.

We stayed at King Fern Bungalow for 3 nights. We had a rocky start when we found out that our shower was broken. But Wasantha made sure that the electrician came in that night to fix it so we could have a hot shower. He is very concerned for the satisfaction of his guests, but make sure you ask for... More

Having had a bad experience the week-end before I was wary of where to book this time. However the owner and driver from King Fern Bungalow were absolutely amazing. They picked us up from the bus station in town and dropped us off at the train station free of charge as well. We arrived fairly late but they were both... More

We'd had a bit of a bad experience at another place the week before, so were very wary about where to book this time. The guys at long fern bungalow were brilliant, so friendly and helpful. They picked us up from the bus stop and took us back to the hotel. The rooms were nice, slightly chilly but there's a... More

We were picked up from the bus stop and dropped off at Nanu Oya free of charge. We arrived late and the owner and bus driver were amicable and went through what we'd like to do the next day, making suggestions and organising it for us. They were very accomodating and lovely people and we had a great day being... More

The hostel is a Little cold but you can ask the staff to light the fireplace. The rooms are standard, according to their price and the meals are excelent. There is algo a free pick up service from nanu oya station. The owner is really nice and he will help you with any doubt you have. The trip to horton... More

Very enjoyable stay of two nights. The house is up the hill out of the centre, with nice views across the town. We stayed in the family suite, two connected rooms with a sitting area, fireplace, and private balcony. Piping hot showers and tasty food, and a very friendly family as hosts. They also organised trips to a tea plantation... More

the room was a bit smelly, had a bad mattress and was at 2500rp/night average (hot water, free wifi). The location on the hill is great for the view although a bit out of the centre. We didn't eat there cos we thought it was a bit overpriced. They organised our pick-up from Nano Oya train station (800rp, 9km). it... More

We stayed at this place for two very enjoyable nights. As requested, we confirmed our reservation before arriving. We got a family unit - wonderful two rooms suite, and another double room. We had a problem with the shower and it was tended immediately. The owners were very welcoming and the food was excellent. One morning we left at 6am... More
