Having had a bad experience the week-end before I was wary of where to book this time. However the owner and driver from King Fern Bungalow were absolutely amazing. They picked us up from the bus station in town and dropped us off at the train station free of charge as well. We arrived fairly late but they were both... More

We'd had a bit of a bad experience at another place the week before, so were very wary about where to book this time. The guys at long fern bungalow were brilliant, so friendly and helpful. They picked us up from the bus stop and took us back to the hotel. The rooms were nice, slightly chilly but there's a... More

We were picked up from the bus stop and dropped off at Nanu Oya free of charge. We arrived late and the owner and bus driver were amicable and went through what we'd like to do the next day, making suggestions and organising it for us. They were very accomodating and lovely people and we had a great day being... More

The hostel is a Little cold but you can ask the staff to light the fireplace. The rooms are standard, according to their price and the meals are excelent. There is algo a free pick up service from nanu oya station. The owner is really nice and he will help you with any doubt you have. The trip to horton... More

Very enjoyable stay of two nights. The house is up the hill out of the centre, with nice views across the town. We stayed in the family suite, two connected rooms with a sitting area, fireplace, and private balcony. Piping hot showers and tasty food, and a very friendly family as hosts. They also organised trips to a tea plantation... More

the room was a bit smelly, had a bad mattress and was at 2500rp/night average (hot water, free wifi). The location on the hill is great for the view although a bit out of the centre. We didn't eat there cos we thought it was a bit overpriced. They organised our pick-up from Nano Oya train station (800rp, 9km). it... More

We stayed at this place for two very enjoyable nights. As requested, we confirmed our reservation before arriving. We got a family unit - wonderful two rooms suite, and another double room. We had a problem with the shower and it was tended immediately. The owners were very welcoming and the food was excellent. One morning we left at 6am... More

I really don't like posting bad reviews but felt I had to own up to my terrible experience here. I know I wasn't alone in this, since all the other guests agreed we received dreadful service. Firstly, when I called to confirm my booking, the owner had given away the room to someone else and said he had forgotten my... More

As there were a couple of negative reviews we doubted whether we want to go here. No regret; we were picked up at the train station, got some thea at arrival, nice rooms, lovely beds, extremely kind hosts and good food! What else could you want? Good weather, for us it was too windy and cold to stay another night,... More

We stayed here last night. We had 4 rooms, all doubles. Everything satisfactory for 3000 Rs per night. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The rooms we had were all very dark and dingy but the restaurant area was light and airy. Food very average.
