We arrived on reccomendation of our tuk-tuk driver. he promised this place should provide all of what we need. and he was right. the rooms are comfortable and clean, only the window in the bathroom couldn't be closed, which makes it very inconvenient during having shower when temperatures outside are below than 10 degrees. even so the service is good,... Came with a Chinese group around 6.30 p.m. It was rainy and gloomy outside. We wanted to checkin soonest possible and have a rest before dinner. We were given a very good service. Rooms are big and clean. Dinner was excellent and we enjoyed . We Were told that a Chief cook with Arabic experiences joined the hotel not so... More

We reached Newara eliya late afternoon, it was getting dark therefore we did'nt have many choice so we checked in this hotel. I can say this was the pathetic experience in my lifetime. I room smelled very bad, TV remote was not working and worst of all after a full days travelling we wanted to have a hot shower, but... More

Stayed for 2 nights - seriously cheap if you walk in and haggle. We had a large double bed, plasma TV and plenty of satellite channels, a very hot and powerful shower, wifi, very cheap next day laundry service and the best tea ive tasted - grown locally. Food wasn't great however - scrambled eggs on toast for breakfast were... More

This is budget accomodation, count please with that. On other hand, hotel is nice and garden for dinner/lunch works perfectly. Room was big and clean, only problem is that this part of Sri lanka is quite wet, so you could feel it in the room. We have very sunny weather when we arrived so we opened window and till evening... Good!! Since this is a budget hotel, initially I had a doubt on the hotel/room maintenance, staff etc. But, all good during the stay. Nice hospitality. Food is good (prices are little bit higher)....Breakfast of your choice (taste is good)...Free Wi-fi (but slow connection)...good response for any service request...walkable distance from City Centre/Market. Overall, it’s OK/Good for a Budget stay.

This place is gross and a terrible value for the money. Our room, #108, smelled overwhelmingly of mold/mildew, which made you want to open a window, but it was so cold out that you couldn’t do it without jumping under the covers right away. (I think the owners might be in the process of renovating the rooms, because I could... More

We stayed just one night, and it was okay for this. Only room available was large, with three beds. Room was very clean, bed sheets very crisp and clean. Beds are a little unusual as they were somewhere between a single and double in width. They were also short. At 5'9", my feet were off the end but because of... More

Our tuk tuk driver recommended this hotel. The price was reasonable to us as we were given a big room with a big bed plus breakfast and the room/bathroom looked clean. We were given a room heater and the hotel owner was so kind to buy me a new hair dryer when I requested for one. Electrical sockets were old... More

Glenfalls Resort is lodge type (Motel) with basic furniture accommodation and limited amenities. It is family owned and operated consists of seven rooms only. It is good for budget travelers or backpackers who are looking for overnight stay only. The building is little bit old and most of the amenities (bed/mirror/electric sockets/water mixers/shower.. etc.) in the room are either not... More
