We were there for 2 nights it's really nice room with garden view but it was LKR 9100 with breakfast . We visited Victoria park ,Gregory lake , world ends from there because it's like hub to those places . There is friendly staff like Chinthana, Neranjan , thayaga .

You can't complain about the hotel itself. It used to be a British governor's mansion and has that colonial style that's just awesome. It is an old building so don't expect anything modern in your room. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food wasn't bad at all. It's quiet at night, being a bit outside the centre,... First, Nuwara Eliya was a great surprise, like a pause button pressed during our travelling. Very clean and cosy. Hotel is great, colonial architecture and spirit. Good service and rooms that are large and have a good hot shower.

We had change in plans, and just dropped by. This is a good place considering the other hotels in the same pricing. We picked up a family room. Not very cheap but quality was good. This place gets cold in the evenings. We had hot water :-) Helpful staff and the restaurant is good. Anyway you have other restaurants nearby... More

I do not understand the people who liked this hotel , bathroom old and dirty, beds with dirty sheets, the smell in the hotel is terrible, please do not go there! we paid 70 dollars to much! It is a shame because it is a nice building and you can make it really beautifull, but they just don't care, the... More

Its a lovely structure, wish the service standards were equally excellent. Decent bungalow located in a quaint corner of Nuwara Eliya which itself is a picturesque town. Rooms are large and decent and we also had a nice walk upto the lake in the evening. Stayed for a night with nothing much to complain about

Pros: Excellent location Nice Garden Fairly OK room Good breakfast Enough parking Good security Cons: Was noisy due to a function in the... More

I cant lie and say that I wasnt impressed by the grandeur of this building because it is pretty spectacular; however, the room was average, I might even go so far as to say it was below average. The carpet hadnt been hoovered/cleaned and there were blonde strands of hair that were obvious to the eye without me having to... More

Had the worst stay ever... Widows, chairs and dressing table full of dust. No remote for the television. When reported to the reception, promised to send one, but never received. Bathroom need to be refurbished. I think they use solar heaters and there was no hot water in the early morning..:( Stayed on F/B. Other than dinner, both lunch and... More

Located at the center of Nuwara Eliya town, this hotel is ideal for a relaxing vacation for a couple or a family. Rooms are good and food is also acceptably good. The furniture and arrangement represents the colonial age and the garden is quite attractive with various kinds of roses. The washrooms however need some refurbishments. The staff is friendly...
